He looks like a puggle, well at least based on what I can recall an old neighbour's puggle looking like 🤷🏻‍♀️

Colouring-wise I'd say there's staffy in him. Our DDog is a staffy x ? We got him as a pup from dogs trust. Saw mum who was mostly staf, but nobody knows what dad was. We think perhaps lab. He has exactly the same colour & markings as our DDog.

I think he looks like a puggle too.

It’s hard without an age... I’d have said mastiff cross if he’s under 5 months... except his paws are teeny.

But he could be a pug beagle cross if he’s older than that...

the curly tail I think I can see - suggests pug in there.

Pug Beagle.

Can't see any RR in there whatsoever.

Well I took him to let's at home this mor I g to get him scanned and they said he's a puffer so most of you were right! Smile

I assumed he'd have a flat face if there was put in him but the beagle must've erased that, your right though the eyes and the tail were a giveaway lol.

I actually found him wandering around on the road last night and I nearly ran him overShockthen the car behind me did too so I got him and rang the number on his tag but it was switched off, so I bought him home.

I took him to let's at home thinking I could take him back to where his chip is addressed to but they said legally they couldn't tell me so I had to leave him there, they said if no one claims him in 48 hours we can claim him or he can go to a rescue Sad

I was trying to work out what mix a puffer would be Grin

Definitely the eyes, forehead and tail that gave the pug part away.

Re the nose when crossing a flat faced breed with something with a longer snout you can get anything from completely flat like a pug to as long a snout as the other parent.

If the owner doesnt come for him, will you claim him?

Please claim him if his owners don’t OP! ❤️

I’m looking after a puggle atm and they look quite similar

My money would be on a Pug x Beagle or something of similar ilk. That cross is really common in the pug cross breeding farms and size is going to completely vary.

Here's a whole Pinterest board of rescue Pug crosses, all sorts of nose length and fur types going on!
