Today we drove 3 1/2 hours to see cockapoo puppies. DC adored the 4 week old puppies and chose one.

However, the breeder told me that the cocker spaniel mum didn't have papers, nor a health check and I am not sure whether to go through with it.

Is there a cooling off period? Can I get the deposit back?

then theres Shih Tzu x poodle - a pooshit
Bulldog x shih tzy - a bull shit
a cocker x poodle x labardor - cockadoodledoo!!!!

This is fun, but not a reason to "breed" dogs and i'd be very disinclined to buy a pup from someone as moronic irresponsible to do this.

Our terrier X came from Battersea . My DS (19) says he is 3/4 Patterdale and 1/4 bastardhound . He's incredibly cute ( the dog that is ) .

I do not understand why people don't just get a rescue. When there are dogs out there being killed, why the hell wouldn't you take one of those and save a life?

Boggles my brain.

Ha ha, love all these names but isn't it ridiculous how all these fancy named dogs seem to make so many people lose their common sense. Agree that I would always go for a rescue, there are some lovely dogs there and all good rescues will assess and talk to you about suitable dogs for each family/person
