How can someone go on holiday and leave me with a dog and a bitch and now bitch is gone into season and is letting off the coochie so I have to keep them separated in my house and dog has been going huu huu huu huu huu for 3 days now and is trembling inside his skin with desire while poor girl is stuck upstairs not knowing why. This is stressful.

Alternatively:
I agreed to look after my exes dogs who are like my family also not knowing my girl would be going into season. He is of course sunning himself on a beach while I'm stressed and spotty. I tell you those period pants for dogs are a lifesaver.

Why are neither of them spayed or neutered?

spikeycow · 11/09/2010 18:05

Because dopey ex won't do it. He wants a pup from them in the future.

ShinyAndNew · 11/09/2010 18:11

Why isn't your bitch done?

spikeycow · 11/09/2010 18:18

No there's only the 2 Shiny. Both live with him. Normally I have the bitch when she goes into season and the dog stays at home so it's easier. I said my girl because we all used to live together and ex is a bit of a so feel responsible for them

Ah right. I thought one was your and one his. Book the dog into the vets for Monday. Problem solved.

When is he back?

spikeycow · 11/09/2010 18:21

Next weekend. I can't get it done behind his back. He's not that sort of man you can do that to IYSWIM

There was someone arranged but twunt fell out with him.

Macdog · 11/09/2010 18:36

Can you book the dog into local kennels?
Leaving the bitch with you?

spikeycow · 11/09/2010 18:39

They won't accept him he is too dog aggressive. It's been 3 days so hopefully will only be another day or 2. They are getting 2 walks a day each and the girl is getting loads of treats and attention from the kids so she knows she's not in trouble or anything. Just have to keep going. Ex wouldn't be able to cope at all, I know that for a fact. Twunt

EdgarAllInPink · 11/09/2010 18:49

dog is aggressive to other dogs and he wants to breed from him? Twat.
double reason to neuter the dog.
And double twat.

i'm betting he thinks its a way to make money.

triple twat.

ShinyAndNew · 11/09/2010 18:52

If the dog is aggressive I definitely vote for neutering before he breeds. Can't you text him and tell him you found a lump/dog was ill. Vet says cancer and neutering will cure him? Or something?

spikeycow · 11/09/2010 18:52

He doesn't want money he got the bitch pregnant before through not watching them well enough and gave them to close friends but FFS with another litter there won't be enough decent people to give them to! He does love them or I'd keep them both myself, he's just so irresponsible like a child in a mans body. And he's not intelligent. I told him all this in a text message after 2 nights of no sleep from the whining

OP posts:
spikeycow · 11/09/2010 18:55

I can't Shiny. He'll know because of all my previous nagging on the subject. I could possibly get the bitch done next time I have her, he won't notice that will he. I can't send the dog back with no balls though.

OP posts:
booyhoo · 11/09/2010 19:01

if he's back next weekend then get the bitch done on monday, if you are thinking of getting it done another time, why wait?

spikeycow · 11/09/2010 19:04

He'll just know if I do it now. She'll never come on again and he'll know. Especially after the text message rants.

OP posts:
booyhoo · 11/09/2010 19:14

bu you say you will get it done the next time you have her so he will know anyway.

spikeycow · 11/09/2010 19:15

I can style it out better then. If I do it now he'll know why. Honestly I can't risk it with him.

I'm the only one with sense in his whole circle Mutt. I could possibly use the tumour story, and get a friend who's a vet nurse to verify it. But not this time.
See the frustration you lot feel? I have to deal with this twat!!

OP posts:
Scuttlebutter · 11/09/2010 21:54

Spikey, if this idiot cares about the bitch, then you might tell him that refusing to have her neutered can lead to health problems including cancer later on.

You say he wants "a" pup - litters of one puppy are quite rare - how does he feel about homing ten pups? Also, by continuing to look after the bitch whenever she is in season, you are helping him out, and he doesn't have to deal with the consequences of his idiocy.
