Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

Well Florence was o impressed with the jam she has spent the night making conserves, preserves, lemon curd and bottling fruit - I had no idea she had these skills so I'll keep the bready / toast theme for today.

Fernando is making fruit based cocktails to go with them.

I was woken up by the cat. Do you have any slightly warm croissants and some strawberry jam please?

Morning, a rather late warm croissant on its way @TokyoSushi Oh you look to be asleep, I'll pop it in an insulated bag for when you wake up.

I'll just pop this heated throw over you to keep warm.

Now today's special let's head to Mexico for huevos rancheros, temales and migas con huevo.

Fernando is obviously making margaritas, Florence is making a selection of pastries. I've put the outside heaters and fairy lights on, I'm letting the kittenbees out so I've switched off the chocolate fountain.

If you see one flying upside down then it's got into your margarita please waft back towards the cafe.

Ohh, I love a margarita, please @sashh they are so festive...are yours served with one of those paper umbrellas?

Of course they have umbrellas.

I know it's out of hours but a margarita with a little umbrella and a play with the kitten bees is just what I need to perk me up after a long day.

A margarita sounds lovely. Just the thing while sat in the chair by the window looking at the spring bulbs.

Well I'll keep the margaritas on the menu as they seem popular. Lets head for the east of the Mediterranean and have hummus, cucumber, olives, fruit, sfakianopita, tomatoes and thick Turkish coffee.

Well this looks rather lovely! I'd absolutely love an Earl Grey with a plain biscuit please as feeling rather sick after family summit today 😞. Would give anything for a baby cuddle ❤️

I'd love everything on your eastern menu please.

I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant and wanting all the food (and sleep) but not really getting either.

I have a busy day ahead too, and an annoying phone call playing on my mind, so obviously my brain has decided I can best cope with these things if I have no sleep. Well, stupid brain, have a croissant.
