Strictly 2022 Sequins at the Ready!

Starting a new thread as can't seem to find one yet, and suddenly feeling very aware that we are likely only days away from line up announcements!

Who do we all think will be on the line up this year? I thought last year was one of the best line ups, a good mix.

Rumours so far include Gino D'Campo, Scarlett Moffat, Steph McGovern, Dawn French..

The first announcements last year were on Wednesday 4th August, so hopefully the same again this year..

Link above is to the comedy special, which I thought was well crafted. Do not watch obviously if you think he is a knob jockey full stop, but I think it is worth viewing to understand the effect of being publicly vilified.
Never heard of the DJ, am off to look now! Maybe one for Nancy?

Classic Aliona choreography when faced with a non-dancer - maximum watchability from her looking gorgeous, minimum actual dancing for her celeb to manage. God I miss her. But for a Christmas special I think it fitted the brief perfectly.

And he seems to have decent musicality, as you'd hope, so does have potential with the right pro.

I don't blame Matt for needing some dosh. Katya can have him! The documentary was inadvertently hilarious but sadly cannot see it on iplayer. Maybe he can dance to Superstitious though. Grin

Yay! Found Bros documentary on Netflix. Will watch again pre Glitterball to make me more compassionate towards Matt. Mark Kermode said you just want to put your arms around them despite the philosophical twattery, but it has been a few years since I saw it.

I was v much a Brosette in the 80s and the documentary was hilariously awesome. Matt was quite bizarre with some absolute classic quotes - should be entertaining for all the pre and post dance interviews!

All the Brosettes I knew were total mean girls. (No offence!) Remember the Grolsch bottle tops? I'm cautiously pleased with Matt as a signing, although he has massive Donobot potential.
