I’m finding this series totally pointless. The cost of building has gone up so much that no one is willing and/or able to do very much of it. Even Kirsty is struggling to make any half decent suggestions

Their house doesn't look any different? They've shoved their daughter in the loft - that surely isn't done to building regs?
They could've made much better use of the living room and used the small bedroom as a study.

It's surely just a vehicle for their careers. I missed the beginning, did it say what their jobs were?

I think Jabzz was a photographer and Sarah was an actress.

I kept thinking how much she reminded me of Megan Markle, so it's no surprise she might act as her double!

Really loved that second house. It so was a dream house like Sarah said. Pretty perfect imho.

I think they just said he worked in the media. Interestingly they didn't give their exact location or the value of the house either - in other episodes they have.

Yes I noticed when Kirstie said the value of the house had gone up by £10k she never actually said what the agents 2 valuations were. Strange that!

What an odd episode. I know building costs are rising, but the very premise of the show is to make changes so you don't need to move.

The bedroom wardrobes were terrible, not even floor to ceiling and no doors. And the only way to make space was to change the bed. Agree with a PP that the loft conversion didn't look like it would count as a usable bedroom.

Yes, it looked neat and tidy during filming, but there's still nowhere to dry clothes! And they'd clearly not bothered tidying up the front of the house.

I think the producers are going to struggle even more in 2023 - budgets won't stretch far at all and prices are stagnant so you won't necessarily get your money back on building work.

Apparently their house is in Thelwall.

Everywhere featured tonight was very close to me.

Agree with Pps though that this series is kind of losing momentum due to no one actually being able to afford any building work.
