Yes, i wonder how it'll all end with Marianne? Agree that Bill is dwarfed by Eric, and the sight of Eric in pink hotpants would be sight to behold . I do think that the character of Eric in the tv series seems more serious than the Eric in the books....

How could I have forgotten about Eric in his lycra shorts! I am up to book 7 at the mo, and I really like Quinn as a character. But book 4 has definitely been my favourite of them all. Those of you who have read the books will know why!!

I was looking back at a Season 1 episode today and I must say that Bill was much hotter and sexier last year. He was more rough and rugged originally. Now he has too much white make-up on and an unflattering side parting that irritates the hell out of me. I prefer old Bill!

Apparently Stephen Moyer is 5ft 10in but Alexander Skarsgard is 6ft 4in so that's why he looks a bit of a shrimp when he is stood next to him.

Last night's ep was a bit over the top with the comedy I thought. Personally, I would have liked a bit less of the Maryann storyline this season and more of the Fellowship of the Sun/Dallas stuff to be honest.

I loved Hoyt's Mum on the Wii though! And Sam's arse in the apron too.

Is Alexander Skarsgard Eric? He is just gorgeous, have never really had a crush as an adult, but he is just about doing it.

Hope tonight isn't the last episode and if so I hope the next series comes soon. I love true blood, best series for ages...

anyone a fan of trueblood on facebook? they have been talking about little mini epsiodes they are showing in the states at the moment,priming them all for series 3, im so addicted to true blood i have been you tubing true blood to watch bits we havnt seen as yet.
have read all the books, and am not too impressed with the maryam story line, as a big fan of the books, but still enjoying the series. cant wait for the episodes when sookie finds eric running down the road, i hope they include that in the series

Book 4 is fantastic! I can't wait for Season 4!
I really like the True Blood books. They are a good fun read I think. Totally the opposite of Twilight. I hated the Twilight books. Only read 1 and got half way through 2 and literally threw it across the room in annoyance! I'll take Sookie over Bella any old day of the week.

This MaryAnn storyline is doing my head in now. It was wrapped up a lot better and neater in the book I seem to recall. They need to finish it now!

Yes, very strange! I don't remember anything about an egg in the book! I loved the episodes that were all about the Fellowship of the Sun, Godric etc. They should have concentrated more on that. The MaryAnn storyline should not be the main arc of Season 2. I really do think they have made a mistake in deviating from the main Vampire plots. But then again, I don't remember Book 2 being one of my favourites either. I think Season 3 with the introduction of Alcide and some others will be a big improvement. I am looking forward to Season 3! And Season 4 should be great as it was definitely the best book!

Book 2 was rubbish tbh, I am glad I bought all the books as I wouldn have been tempted to leave it after book 2 with all the weirdo mythology.
Funny they introduced hadley so soon but I can understand it, I always thought it was weird that you never got the backstory in the books until after it all happened iyswim.

I love pam btw, she's brilliant.

and sams butt in apron was sexy, clever how he chnaged to a fly and dissapeered and then all of the town thought he had gone to the god!!
