Jack where did you read the interview with Eric (drool!) ? The series has digressed from the books a lot hasn't it, but imo the series has more depth to it than the books, which, although, I love them - tumbleweed have more substance!

I like Lafayette though. And I think it is better to have Tara in the show more as you can't 'hear' Sookie talking like she narrates the books, so she can talk things through Tara.

I am not sure how much they are squashing them or if they are just changing things as apparently Sophie is in this season, which is too early, surely. I don't mind too much though, the books are great but wouldn't make for a good show filmed 'as is' but they have kept to them enough for it still to be as good as Charlaine';s writing.

I got so into the first series, that I ended up googling Season 2...so basically spoilt it all for myself .

Then DH bought the first 5 books which I have devoured (leaving my book club book on the shelf). We are waiting for the next ones to arrive.

Loved last weeks episode. Loved Bill & Lorena shagging on the bed while that lady bled to death .....(now I've typed that, it just looks wrong).
Hope Eric saves Sookie / Godric & Hugo......also why are we getting Jason soapy & naked, Bill rolling around semi clothed in blood and yet NOTHING of Eric with his kit off !!
