Seeing as how we only have a few weeks to wait now!
I have Season 7 synopsis here it's only a short recap of episodes but it was enough to remind me of a few things I had forgotten!

Namely Tony being 'good' all along and wanting revenge for (pregnant) Michelle, and Renee going into the interogation room with a very 'Jack' expression on to 'ersuade' Wilson to confess. Oh, and in the dull presidential bits that's skanky moo daughter getting in the shit for ordering a hit. (hey, that rhymes!)
So, anyone know when it is starting on Sky? In US I think it's the 17th so we would normally get it on the 24th and 25th but can't find listings!

How did that blonde CTU woman keep her hair over one shoulder? I found that annoying.

I love how petulant Chloe looks, she'd give my dds a run for their money wrt to the pouty sulky face.

How long will the 2 episode showings last? I thinks it's better than just showing 1 hour.

And then Jack said last night she nearly killed him (I think)

Last season Jack had renee do some bad things, she had to threaten to hurt some womans baby to get info out of her DH and then help Jack torture some other guys for various reasons.
At the end she had the big bad in an interrogation room and he wasn't talking so she put her badge down and walked in looking like she meant business, that is the guy Jack said she nearly killed, so he obviously sent her mental moral compass a bit awol

Re: renees scars. Suicide attempt. If you cut up the artery you are more likely to succeed. Cutting across your wrists takes a lot longer. (not sure why I know this but I do)

DH & I were properly shocked at her & the grinder. Eeeek. She really has gone nutso.

Anyone else notice that the head of CTU (can't remember his name) walks like the ceiling is too low? It's starting to bug me! Stand up straight man!!

I'm wondering where the whole blonde CTU woman thing is going to. Is that bloke her ex-husband? Why doesn't she just call the police & say there's someone in her house?

OK I was really into it until Renee came back. She annoyed me last season and she's still as annoying this time round. The whole badass-torturing-her-contact thing is so tiresome.

Besides are we really expected to believe that the best agent the FBI is able to provide to foil a nuclear situation on US territory is an ex-agent who hasn't worked the case for SIX YEARS? That after sais agent stopped working the case to move on to (seemingly) average FBI duty (wasn't she just a normal FBI 'suit' at the beginning of season 7?) they lost all interest in Russian mafia activity until they suddenly needed her again?
Please.... She doesn't even speak Russian! Not to mention the fact that she has serious psychological issues and that she's seemingly memorised her cover story in less than a minute and refuses to rehearse it because she 'doesn't want to be babysat'????

It's possibly one of the most far-fetched plot contrivance they've ever done (and God knows they've done a few)

anonacfr, just remind yourself it is only 4 hours in, you will need to hold onto your ranting until they come up with a plot line that involves Jack dying and then being able to fly a plane/drive a car/kill 4 bad guys with his bare hands immediately afterwards or you'll never last

(although I do agree with you, problems I have so far are Renee, Starbuck not being vetted, Jack gettin into armoury in about 2 minutes, RUssian guy finding him in first place, no-one spotting pres's brother acting suspiciously, and the head of CTU acting like a blinkered twat and not knowing Chloe's track record...but anyway

Ah love mumsnet lol. I too thought the security guy looked like wayne palmer which confused the hell out of me. Also the CTU guy litterally looks like he is walking around with a huge weight on his shoulders. As for the blonde ctu girl she keeps reminding of anneka rice especially with the ear piece keep expecting her to jog into a sprint challenge anneka style.

However on the plus side loving freddie prince junior and Jack just need Tony back to make a yummy trio!!!

I didn't really watch Lost - but DH commented that there seemed to be a lot of folks from sci-fi series's (SP?) in it. Vlad was in Battlestar Galactica too. Seems Freddie Prinz Jr is the odd one out... unless you count Scoobie Doo as Sci-Fi

I wish Renee would get over herself. You are right PBM, the wide eyed look is getting old. She looked so kick-ass in the trailers, but she is mostly just psycho. No wonder Jack is worried.

Is techie guy going to follow that bloke on satalite feed then & find out Anika Rice is a criminal? She is listed in Wiki as being in every episode, so doubt they will kill her off.
