then you know now I know it's just a show but he's a two faced git. I'll never watch X factor again. I knew it was rigged but that was so hypocritical beyond belief.

Why are people so angry about this The 2 boys will have a career regardless of their voices whereas the girl was mediocre

Lucy wasn't mediocre last night. She was god. My parents were watching with us and even they said she was good. Dad knows what he's talking about as he can sing and has in the past been in several musicals. The only carer the boys will get is working in a holiday camp. a lot of the public don't vote on who actually can sing they just vote on a whim or who they fancy. The outrage over last night is because the judges are supposed to save the better singer and as I've said before Lucy was much better than the twins. She in fact had got at The Italia Conti Academy ( which is very difficult to get into) before she went on X factor but she couldn't go as the X factor is a full time thing.

Sorry she wasn't God. But she was very good.

She hasn't got the x factor though Those twins will be a goldmine with the High schoolmusical type kids Advertisers dream they can endorse all sorts and they are made to be kids presenters.Girls like lucie are 2 a penny at auditions.I think the whole lot of them are fairly average esp when you see someone who really can sing like Leona.Oli seems the most natural as a performer and doesn't have teh desperation factor which is so refreshing a bit like will young

I've just seen the results of the show, I cannot believe it.
I am outraged. I think Lucy has huge potential. How can anyone support Simon C any longer.
This show is not about talent any more is it? It's about the judges and who is better liked or more powerful.

i thought this thread was going to reveal something really seedy about him. He let public decide so the interesting entertaining twinnys had a chance to stay in - i wouldnt really watch it without twit and twat, when it comes to the bitter end they wont win but they will drag inthe viewers.

I haven't read the whole thread and am probably repeating people, but it isn't real.

Obv it is real for the contestants, but we're on what, the sixth year now? If people watching and taking part aren't aware how rigged it is by now, I am seriously worried for them.

People with great voices don't get through even the first stages because they don't have the right look or story to make decent viewing (Aorta... is that you?? ). It is shit from a people getting a chance perspective, but perfectly logical for a tv money making one.

Twit and Twat are this year's Chico/Same Difference/Rhydian (delete as appropriate), they get the viewers and the money. I'm assuming Joe (pretty and marketable to young girls) or Danyl (decent voice and now on his "new" personality) will actually win, with T&T coming second. Tis a bloke's year to win, so Stacey can't...

Well then this show is the right one for people like you. Not for me I'm afraid. I honestly thought it was a talent show. I get outraged when I see such unfairness.

The viewers get dragged in with or without the circus show.

i find it easy entertainment tbh on a saturday night - i never vote.

I was truely shocked when Simon C missed the opportunity of getting rid of the twins. But thinking about it, I guess it makes sense. Silly me !!!

Er..it's all about viewing figures people. The more viewers the better as far as Simon is concerned.

And lets face it, Lucie wasn't going to win...she's not that good.

BGT would be the show for the twins - not a singing contest.

I think SC has lost total credibility both personally and for the show - although I understand that there are probably commercial reasons for the decision he made.

I think John and Edward are great. I do actually really like them. I think they are fun and I think they are upfront and straightforward. I do, however, think they should have gone when it came to the judges. Like the Cheeky girls, they will find their niche and they won't (will never!!)win... I think Simon Cowell made himself look bloody stupid though.

Apparently 3000 complaints have been made and ofcom are investigating. Quite what they are supposed to be investigating I have no idea (hmm)

Thing is, we will have forgotten about all of them anyway by this time next year.

I can't believe so many people have bothered to complain.

Simon knows it is an entertainment show- and like it or not ,the twins make the front pages of the tabloids. But the prize is a recording contract, and he also knows that the twins will not translate to record. But they will generate huge publicity for the tour, they will be the reason people go to see it.

I think he lost interest in the true 'talent' element once he got Leona- she is his cash cow (if you'll pardon the expression!).
