Love Hadley looking bored while his mum goes ape over the magazine.

EyeballsintheSky · 20/10/2009 23:21

Silly tart. Hadley quite rightly doesn't give a toss

thegrammerpolicesic · 20/10/2009 23:22

Hadley's mum IS Dobby from Peep Show. She is insane. Sorry if you're on here Hadley's mum.

dilbertina · 20/10/2009 23:26

Am kind of impressed with Esther's enthusiasm with baby number 4. I think...

Frankie is one adored baby isn't he?

VictoriousSponge · 20/10/2009 23:26

hadleys mum is barking
their house is an utter tip - 5 kids ornot

VictoriousSponge · 20/10/2009 23:26

whatw as with all the face storking?

dilbertina · 20/10/2009 23:27

oh..and my baby is THE cutest actualy!

globaljen · 20/10/2009 23:28

Esther is a total fruitloop! And I have known a few - but she takes the proverbial biscuit. I switched this on by accident, and thought it was a spoof, seriously.

My kids are gorgeous - not only am I utterly biased, but I was told to take them to casting agencies and refused point blank. Watching this program made me convinced I made the right decision.

Nutters.

Housemum · 20/10/2009 23:29

Hello??!! - has anyone actually thought that they pick the most extreme examples for the sake of good TV?

Normal middle class-ish mum takes kids to castings/jobs, sees it as a bit of fun and some nice pics, money in the kids' accounts for the future does not make an interesting programme (they turned me down )

Arsed · 20/10/2009 23:31

What kind of name is hadley !?!?!?

roaringfire · 20/10/2009 23:32

on one hand manipuative exploitative in order to get people to buy magazines regurgiting (mainly) articles from one year to the next and selling lots of stuff nobody needs. On the other, with triplets, I'd consider it. . Of course my child is far cuter but wll she thank me in years to come when she had no choice???

Ivykaty44 · 20/10/2009 23:33

I loved the pushchair beng lowered down from the upstairs in esthers house My dd1 thinks that she is never having babies if you end up with fashion sense like esther mad

glob - we did wonder if it was a spoof

EyeballsintheSky · 20/10/2009 23:34

Measuring babies' cheeks? Distance between forehead and eyes? Retouching? Judging babies by looks? Sorry. Nothing normal about it. The babies have no say, it's all for the parents. Esther might be extreme but anyone who gets into this is barking.

Housemum · 20/10/2009 23:38

Woof

BratleyEatsBrainsForBreakfast · 21/10/2009 07:41

Back again. Sorry for starting the thread then buggering off!

I realised I was far too tired to watch it last night and went to bed. I'm going to watch it on iplayer in the cold light of day and see if I still want to scream!

I was told DS could be a 'baby model' but I declined, not a flippin chance, would rather be skint I think.

TheFoosa · 21/10/2009 08:07

BratleyEatsBrainsForBreakfast · 21/10/2009 08:33

Oh I'm so... oh I don't know!

On one hand I thought it was quite cute and sweet. Parents being so in love with their baby/babies they're convinced they're the best thing since sliced bread.
But then, those poor babies, asking if its ok to feed the babies before carrying on with the photoshoot??
Thy're babies before they're models, if they need feeding then feed them!

Good programme though, sure we'd all be a bit PFB about any of our kids if we were in that situation!

Esther was nuts though! Very funny at times. Don't think I could cope with her full time though!
