Zoe was better than Ali... but I think the judges were looking at the overall dancing, rather than just tonight... in which case I can see why they would have picked Ali

BTW, did anyone else think the Bee Gees sounded very peculiar? Something seemed to be very wrong with the sound levels, almost to the point of not being able to recognise the song...

Perhaps it was just me?

I thought Natalie was alright too. Craig wasn't though, and Ricky G, although I love him a lot, wasn't that great either tonight.

Zoe was good and so was Ali, they didn't deserve to be in the dance off. That's all.

dh and I were trying to work out the 5 celebs worse than Ali and Zoe. We came up with Craig, Eastenders Ricky, Natalie, Phil and Chris. I think Craig should have gone - he annoys me because he seems to think that he is as good as the other celebs at dancing. He's not.

I'm pleased Ali stayed. I didn't really get what the judges saw in Zoe. I thought Ali's paso was pretty good...especially considering she was in pain.

Even though I'm not a huge fan of Zoe, I still think it's ridiculous that she went and not Craig. Craig danced much better tonight than he had previously but he was still rubbish compared to the others.

Agree with Avada - who is voting for Craig? Its so wrong that Zoe has gone already. Worked out that Craig must have had at least 6 points from the public to stay in as Ali and Brian had 8 points already. Why?? Zoe must be completely gutted. I had a bad feeling this was gonna happen tonight.

am watching it now, came on here cos i was completely baffled by the judges' positive response to zoe's dance. i thought it was really stiff and kind of unpleasant to watch, what with the gyrating and all.

and yes, bless, her, she does look like she had a hard paper round if she's thirty five.

I think SCD is rubbish now and have stopped watching it. I now watch the American version
Dancing With The Stars which is much more entertaining than SCD and actually has 'stars' in the programme.I just couldn't get used to Alesha .

I watch DWTS too I thought Louis and Chelsie would stay after dance off as they had far far far more content and he was miles better than Michael. ( and he's just so cute, I want to put him into my pocket )

Thought Zoe and James' routine was bad, and the song was quite a slow one to Samba to, still it was a shame they went when there are other (Craig) much worse dancers still in it.

Zoe seems always to have her neck covered. A lot of actresses do have a 'formal' and 'informal' age...

I don't like James her pro partner, so up himself. And it was his fault for making her gyrate like a drunk granny at a wedding.

She was lovely and gracious though. Good for her.

I love strictly but don't rate aleesha at all she is dreadful.Craig is dire as someone else said who votes for him? Zoe was dreadful at teh samba just couldn't do sexy at all looked so bad doing the bum wiggles.They all look better in training with less make up esp ola who is gorgeous make up free.

Why do you think it is that the US version can get real stars to join whereas the UK version is mainly Z list?? I've never understood that. Is is money? Or are our A listers too scared of making fools of themselves?

Apart from Donnie on DWTS and Kelly Osbourne, I'd say the rest are pretty much the same level as our contestants. Mix of models/sportspeople/TV shows etc.

I hope Craig realises he will likely be booted off in front of his home crowd - more mortifying than normal I would have thought? ho hum

I've just caught up with this now, cant't believe Zoe is out while that appalling Craig is still there, urgh, he is so patetic with his Blackpool spiel, yuck.

It's obvious that anyone from Eastenders or Coronation St has a huge advantage over the other competitors as no matter how rubbish they are they will still recieve the lions share of the votes.

Clearly Craig, Phil, Ricky Groves, Chris and Natalie should have been the contenders for the dance off, but their fans will vote for them no matter how they perform.

I loved Zoe, I thought she was gracious and elegant, and deserves a medal for dancing with James who makes my skin crawl!

I used to love strictly, but it's not really about dancing anymore

Have to agree with the majority of the posters here that am that Zoe has gone.... she was my girl crush from way back when and I thought she looked pretty great. I also think, in the dance off, she did better and I thought they were supposed to decide from that dance alone who should stay. Having said that, all the 'proper' judges voted for Ali so perhaps they saw something I didn't - didn't notice the bare feet for instance!!

So pleased for Ricky W - he is absolutely lovely. Checked out the Hollyoaks Hunk calender to see if I wanted Santa to drop it in my stocking and although some of the guys look dreadful there is lots of bare chest so have popped it on my list.

I think Craig must go next week - but been saying that for weeks so who knows (agree Adava, loved him in QAF and as I don't watch Corrie was trying to place him for ages!).
