if only to see Brendan Cole and i dont reckon he'll be around for long with Jo Wood!

Think Tuffers will be hysterical though.

Who are we tipping to win/be 1st one out?

Boxer Joe. We like Jade in our family!!

evansmummy · 17/10/2009 21:49

I would have preferred that Craig went tonight, but yes, the two Joe's aren't briliiant either. I hate it when couples get sympathy votes, and Craig going on about his 'Blackpool, my home town' stuff probably kept him in. I find that annoying when he was clearly, tonight, worse than Joe C.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 17/10/2009 21:50

i don't get why everyone gets so cross about the good dancers going etc. it's supposed to be light entertainment, and their improvement is what they should be judged on, imo.

evansmummy · 17/10/2009 21:50

Exactly, Aitch, and Joe C improved this week

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 17/10/2009 22:05

I thought Zoe's routine was a bit wierd and didn't suit her or show her off - some of the moves made her look hulking and awkward.
She must have been gutted to be in the dance-off though.
And I agree that Craig should have gone - he hasn't improved either his dancing or his personality.

kiwibella · 17/10/2009 22:14

I'm wondering too Heated - walked back in the room and it was finished!!!!

Who went tonight, ladies?

kiwibella · 17/10/2009 22:17

is boxer Joe gone?

SmallSCREAMCap · 17/10/2009 22:17

Hee hee, did you see how cross James was about Bruno forgetting his name and calling him "Ian?"

I enjoy Zoe and James' dancing, but I can't warm to the pair of them at all.

aristoBLACKcat · 17/10/2009 22:22

yes, boxer Joe out

Heated · 17/10/2009 22:23

Thank you. Agree, shame it wasn't Craig.

I loved Jade & Ian's dance.

aristoBLACKcat · 17/10/2009 22:27

did anyone see spandau ballet?

wow.....felt like i was 21 again

ThingumyandBob · 17/10/2009 22:40

Ah yes????Spandau ballet!!

(The dancers kept getting the way of the view though?)

MaryAmericanSmooth · 18/10/2009 08:28

Tony Hadley has a great voice

ellceeell · 18/10/2009 09:32

I had to watch with my eyes shut though - if Tony Hadley is that old, I must be too

Nancy66 · 18/10/2009 11:07

I think whichever celeb ends up with James as their pro partner is going to struggle to do well - he is so unlikeable that the public aren't going to vote.

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 18/10/2009 12:17

Is it me or is Brucie losing it now? That spat with Craig was embarrassing.

Nancy66 · 18/10/2009 12:46

Staged I reckon - they're losing out big time to X factor in the ratings. Last week X Factor had all the controversy re Dannii and her comments to Danyl, so Strictly thought they'd get in on the act.

StrictlyAvadaKedavraarrrrghhhh · 18/10/2009 12:50

Yes Brucie was embarrassing the way he rounded on Craig RH. Bruno said the exact same thing 30 seconds before Craig and Brucie didn't bat an eyelid. All he said was bush kangaroo, nothing personal at all in that.
Brucie should apologise.

Clayhead · 18/10/2009 12:53

Exactly what we said here - why is calling someone a grasshopper OK but calling someone a kangaroo suddenly very personal? It made no sense and seemed made up.

Bruce is an embarrassment and I watch it on delay so I can whizz very quickly through all of his bits.

MaryAmericanSmooth · 18/10/2009 13:06

yes,Bruce is very embarrassing - was a ridiculous exchange really and Brendan is a knob. James is curiously unlikeable isn't he.

LilyBolero · 18/10/2009 13:09

I think Brendan's reaction to Craig was a reaction to the weeks of criticism - and given that he had spent all week building up her confidence, didn't want it shattered by some careless words from CRH.

There isn't any need to call someone a kangaroo - some constructive criticism like 'it was a little bouncy, try and keep your feet more on the floor to get a better line' is much more helpful than 'It reminded me of Skippy the Bush Kangaroo.'

Clayhead · 18/10/2009 13:12

But hy did Bruno get away with calling her a grasshopper then? It seems inconsistent.

Does the Italian accent neutralise his words?

LilyBolero · 18/10/2009 13:18

You don't always analyse these things though, and Craig has been consistently vile to Jo W.

JulesJules · 18/10/2009 13:44

I thought Alesha calling Leila a drunken ragdoll was far more insulting. What was up with Brucie, he seemed to be in a foul mood. The show started 25 mins late, Tess seemed unable to get her words right, or in the right order... Something Was Up, I reckon.

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 18/10/2009 13:46

I actually quite like Craig, but he does seem to home in on an individual to pick on.

Thought others made far more ridiculous-looking mistakes than her, and he didn't see fit to crack jokes at their expense.

But Bruce and the whining dick Brendan made it seem worse than it actually was, when she seemed perfectly capable of brushing it off.
