BIG BROTHER, BIG LOAD OF $£"^%

Big brother my arse. When is channel 4 going to get its head out its proverbial and use its money to make something decent to watch? When you say? When those who watch the likes of Big Brother and other "reality" tv shows, stop watching them. They are cheap to make, appeal to the lowest common denominator of intelligence and also to many of our voyeuristic tendencies, in my opinion.

I would rather watch heartbeat than big brother and that is saying something. Fortunately i dont watch much tv, but i know plenty who are tuning in to this mindless drivel tonight and it makes my heart ache that they will be wasting so many weeks getting excited over NOTHING. The majority of tv is crap, but this show is top of the crap heap. Dosent say much for those who watch it either.

yes LM, it's like some sort of weird cycle. Our kids will be telling their mates how strange we are making them eat picnics in the rain and in 30 years time, they'll be doing the same thing to their kids. It's kinda strangely satisfying in a way.

OK i love BB, i love to see the freaks make fools of themselves, i love the cockiness they all have in their video auditions which disintegrates as soon as they enter their house and we watch them become hugely intimidated once they enter the house.

Yep it's mindless cheap crap, but helps me switch off from my busy day, being such an intelligent person i find it difficult to wind down sometimes and need just that.

there are obviously people that like the show otherwise it wouldn't be the 6th series .. they just wouldn't have the money to do it. So maybe if you don't like it ..CHANGE THE CHANNEL!

I enjoy big brother and quiet a few of the other reality programs, so according to this threat 'i am without a brain' in so many words. Doesn't bother me everyone is intitled to there view but really if you don't like them 'don't watch them' and leave us alone...

exactly.. i personally hate Corrie but i don't rant and rave about it because millions of people love it i just don't watch it. So don't rant and rave about something that some people really enjoy... just get over it and stop winging.. do something else with your life if it effects u that much!
