I know I shouldn't watch this but I probably will. Can't beleive Kelly Brook is going to be one of the presenters - I thought she was all Hollywood now. And I thought Jayne Middlemiss was way too cool to be involved in something like this too.

Agree that Fran hasn't been too exciting, but think they can't afford to let another boy go. There's already more women than men in there.

Must say though, I find Fran much more appealing than the shallow Calum. Wonder if Calum has any idea about all the recent troubles his father has had.

Yep, it'll probably be Liz that goes. I dont' like Callum or Fran - Fran is not attractive to me and he's boring, Callum is just arrogant, thinks he's God's gift to women and wants to work his way around them all.

I like Fran better than Calum. Fran at least does something - whether it's working out, cutting someone's hair, etc. And he's not sleazy - at least not on the show.

Calum strikes me as soft, lazy, fickle and with a sense of superiority and arrogance. At least Fran worked to get where he is.

Agree that Jayne was good fun tonight too. And, for some reason she's been looking much happier and prettier than she did a few weeks ago.

Re' Paul/Nikki - incredibly fast off the blocks, but the thing we have to remember is that she is a Playboy pin-up and he is a twat; chances are she's "highly sexual" for want of better words... in fact I can think of no other reason why she would have been put in to the house. And hasn't it been fun to watch?

Re' Abi/Lee - think he likes her more than she likes him... or she does really like him and, having already revealed all in her little video tape, she is now getting all prim and proper in an attempt to do things properly. Also think that she probably wants to break into more mainstream tv (versus dodgy video), so is trying to brush up on her image. Blowjobs and full on sex in front of the nation probably wouldn't help.

Couldn't quite believe the Paul/Nikki thing last night. The more I see of him the less I like him - yeuch yeuch - she is obviously a bit of a slapper as well - as Jayne was saying - they've only known each other 2 days or something. I think it's hilarious that Paul thinks he loves her.
Abi/Lee - I think he is probably a nice bloke and is more up for having a laugh than anything else. Maybe Abi does really like him but I think it's the security aspect of him she likes. Can't imagine that theirs would be a long lasting relationship. Also, she has been through quite a few of those blokes hasn't she - I don't think she'd be bothered which one she got off with.

Tommy - I agree with you that Abi wants to connect with someone, and she doesn't seem to mind who. She has expressed interest in every single one of them while on the island. Can't tell if she's into Lee just because he's responding to her.

And, I can't figure Lee out. He definitely sends mixed messages. Maybe he responds to Abi because she's flirty, but also vulnerable with her hurt leg, so he has the chance to "take care" of her.

Why do you think Liz is turning out to be such a romantic on-entity? She's clever, funny, attractive and isn't a drama queen. Yet, no one has made a move in her direction - even Paul has ignored her while he's been making eyes at all the rest. I don't get it.

I thought that about Abi too, Tipex. Fairyjo - there was some problem because of the storm there yesterday - they showed the one from yesterday as the first half of today's programme.
I am sad enough to look at the CLI website as well but it has been not working all day - anyone had this problem?
BTW - can't believe Paul and Nikki - he is soooo deluded!

Believe it or not, I missed the show! My old friend from LA called a few minutes before the show was due to start. I was thrilled to hear from her, but now must depend on the faithful Mumsnetters to fill me in on what I missed!

What happened tonight? Wasn't there due to be an eviction? Catch me up please!

THis is sooooooooooo funny, I hope Jayne wins - her little cracks to the camera have been fantastic. When Paul was wittering on about the 'deep conversations' they've had - about her hair going green fgs!
Earlybird, you missed another corker - everyone was up in arms because Paul and Nikki had apparently kept them all awake with loud moany shenanigins in the night, then they had another quickie in the shower, then there was a huge storm!
Abi and Lee don't seem to be going anywhere, and I bet she'll drop him like a hot coal when the surfer turns up. The eviction will be tomorrow.
