Agree that Paul is a big jerk. He has no patience for wooing a girl, is like a child in that he wants immediate gratification, and clearly doesn't understand that a friendship is often the best way to start a love relationship. And what was he on about....."I think I could marry this girl" (meaning Nikki!)
Do you think the viewers really voted Nikki in, or perhaps the show's producers engaged in a bit of manipulation for dramatic effect?
Watched a little bit of the "live feed" last night before bed. It showed Lee and Nikki chatting in the love shack. She said that she trained as a dental assistant, and wanted to be an orthodontist but decided against it as the study was lengthy. Quite a leap from dental assistant to Playboy centrefold!
Anyway, she seemed pleasant enough, but certainly fits the California girl stereotype of gorgeous, blonde, fab figure, air headed, superficial, giggly, self absorbed......and that awful speaking voice of a nasal Valley Girl.
Lee is so laid back that I doubt he'd initiate any physical shenanigans with Nikki. But, we might have seen sparks fly if Fran had been in there. Doubt he'd hold back! And, thank goodness it's not Paul in there with her. Can you imagine how much we'd all be cringeing?
Now on the subject of Lee - who did he play football for? Was he any good? When did he retire? I somehow missed out on his football career....has he done anything of note since he retired?
