OMG OMG OMG! I can't believe what I am watching! This mum spends 4 - 12 hours on the internet chatting to her friends, she says her small baby has 'chosen junk food over health'

OMG!

no she hasn't, YOU have chosen it for her. This is going to make me judge until I can judge no more!

if she is a mumsnetter i hope she reads this thread and hangs her head in shame.

TrinityRhino · 21/06/2009 21:12

she needs to do more than hang her head in shame
she needs to realise that she has been acting like a spoilt brat, neglecting herself and her child and she needs to get a fucking grip

beanieb · 21/06/2009 21:14

I think Social services would be interested and they would be able to offer her support to parent in a better way.

Am watching on 4 plus1

Dragonfly74 · 21/06/2009 21:20

I just want to give that poor little girl a hug.

rookiemater · 21/06/2009 21:21

Beanieb, do you think they would do something ? It would be so good to think so.

I mean sometimes I think I'm a bad parent but christ I'm like supermum compared to her. Cracks me up that I spend my time worrying that DS doesn't like vegetables and concocting ways to sneak them into his diet and she thinks that a packet of crisps is a reasonable breakfast.

BitOfFun · 21/06/2009 21:23

If she is on here I bet she's a troll- hughjarssss?

beanieb · 21/06/2009 21:24

I think Social Services might look at it as an education thing, as in a lack of. Or maybe a learning disability thing. It's possible that they both (her OH too) have very low IQs and so SS would see it as a case where the parents need some kind of support worker?

katz · 21/06/2009 21:26

omg! is all i can say.

Kimi · 21/06/2009 21:31

Lazy dirty lardy worthless excuse for a mother

Noonki · 21/06/2009 21:31

I am seriously considering contacting channel 4 to say they have a duty of care (or some such terminology) to that poor little baby.

Dragonfly74 · 21/06/2009 21:32

How the hell can she think it's ok to let her little girl sit in her cot with a soaking wet nappy till 1.30 and then give her crisps when she wakes up.

the poor little thing was almost shaking with excitement when she was given petit filous and banana for breakfast and it took no more effort than opening a packet of crisps.

TBH I don't think its a lack of education, she just can't be bothered.

fuzzypeach · 21/06/2009 21:33

how the hell does she afford to go out 4 times a week when she doesnt work and is living in a council house?

CarGirl · 21/06/2009 21:34

Her husband works and they have low rent that's how.

SpookyMadMummy · 21/06/2009 21:35

Very poor. With 3 Dc's, I manage a healthy diet and reasonably tidy home. She really does have NO excuse.

Kimi · 21/06/2009 21:51

Seems I am being too hard on her on the other thread

I think she is vile and social services should call on her TBH.

She is heading for a heart attack with that life style.

How bloody hard is it to clean a house, get up before mid day and not leave your child lying in piss for hours on end?

jetcat32 · 21/06/2009 21:53

its just awful! Georgina is just adorable, and just a few month younger than my dd2. The thought of me leaving her in her cot till lunch time with a full wet nappy is just too much - she would be so uncomfortable!

When the little one was lying in her cot waving her empty milk bottle, it reminded me of the NCPSCC advert - where the little boy is standing in his cot??

As a social worker myself (though not worked for a couple of years now) i seriously think that this is neglect, and not only should Ch4 be contacted, but also the local SS department!

MollieO · 21/06/2009 21:57

I see that 'early in the morning' is 9.30am! Poor child and poor baby on the way.

jetcat32 · 21/06/2009 21:59

just watched the end - she pregnant again??? Yes i know the programme said that she had changed blah blah blah, but i would still have serious concerns over whether the change is a long term one

katz · 21/06/2009 22:04

i'm not an emotional person but this had me in tears, that poor little girl, i seriously hope that watching herselve on TV is the wake up call this mum needsa dn that she seeks the help she needs to be a better mum.

ginormoboobs · 21/06/2009 22:04

Why is there no sheet on her bed
The bed must fucking stink

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 21/06/2009 22:05

OMG. I knew there would be a thread about this on here. I sat watching it with tears in my eyes. That poor little girl. We didn't have a pot to p*ss in when we were kids but our house was clean and tidy and we never had fecking crisps for breakfast.

I sincerely hope social services is involved. That house was a fecking disgrace - filthy beyond belief and how can anyone leave a baby in bed until midday, everyday, with a nappy so soaked that even the bed was wet through. And the lazy cow is pregnant again .

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 21/06/2009 22:06

posted before had finished rant.........

yes. Anyway. So lazy cow is pregnant again and she can't even be arsed to look after the child she already has. Disgusting.

Yes, she does need help to be a better mum. I just wonder what long term impact that kind of help would have?
