I can imagine the pitch: "Kirstie does for houses what Hugh Farringly-Witteringness did for food - grow it/source it/kill it/make it your self, using local, traditional methods and skills."
I'd watch that. It's a great idea.
Unfortunately the resulting programme was as badly made as Kirstie's cushion. She doesn't have the passion for craft that HFW does, and I don't want to see Kirstie giggling making her own crap versions of what real craftspeople can do. And, as someone else pointed out ahead of me, how can she blether on about helping to save resources/the planet by rescuing a mirror from a skip whilst driving around in the biggest 4x4 I've ever seen. The Kath Kidston bit was weird - obviously something didn't work out there, Kirstie looked ill and Kidston hardly said anything. She probably doesn't use her own products in her own kitchen anyway.
I'm tempted to watch the next episode or a laugh though
