why no, spike, because my eyes are still blinded by that rock of a ring on her left hand.

it's BIGGER than Princess Di's.

wuglet · 16/04/2009 20:47

Am very of her parents house it is luuurvely...

LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 16/04/2009 20:47

I love the 40k Landrover and 'skipping' - fantastic, I love her

LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 16/04/2009 20:48

Her kitchen is about 50 feet long

LadyOfWaffle · 16/04/2009 20:48

I noticed the Emerald too!

expatinscotland · 16/04/2009 20:49

Oh, dear, tonight I found out I was supposed to be asking the skip owners if I could lift their rubbish.

Pinkjenny · 16/04/2009 20:51

It's making me cross. Who lives in houses big enough to have kitchen bloody diners in? Most people are lucky to fit a dining table in their kitchen.

JolieGirl · 16/04/2009 20:51

It's just all a bit too 'smug' for me. Well intentioned, but somehow all wrong.

weebump · 16/04/2009 20:52

Jeez, she spends more time telling us what she will do, and what she has done than actually doing stuff!

JolieGirl · 16/04/2009 20:55

It's sort of going into the realm of Anthea's Perfect Housewifey type mode....

JolieGirl · 16/04/2009 20:57

Hahahahahah! The cushions are the worst thing in the finished kitchen!!!! Rest of it bloody lovely though i will say

Pinkjenny · 16/04/2009 20:57

It's billed as 'let me show you what you can do'. Yeah, if you have thousands of pounds, let alone time for flower arranging and glass blowing. Come on Kirstie, you're a working mum, get real.

JolieGirl · 16/04/2009 20:58

er no i take that back the WOW letters are awful

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 16/04/2009 20:58

I said on a thread months ago that poor Kirsty and channel 4 would have to replace 'location, location ,location' with make do and mend programmes because of the state of the economy. I was soooo right!

LadyOfWaffle · 16/04/2009 20:58

Eh? Is that it? Too bland plain for me

OP posts:
tiredandwornoutmum · 16/04/2009 20:59

I Love the kitchen...I would love it..but who has a kitchen THAT size????

spikemomma · 16/04/2009 20:59

expat - i thought that was a pretend fugazi type ring. Surely that's not REAL?! I'm as sick a dog.

weebump · 16/04/2009 20:59

It is much cheaper to arrange your own flowers. She's right there.

Onlyaphase · 16/04/2009 20:59

I wondered if I'd like this, and I don't really. All rather obvious stuff, and we don't need a whole hour of it.

Good to see the promotion of crafts like hand-blown glass though.

JuxaLOTmoreChocolate · 16/04/2009 21:00

Oh she's looking at baths next week. Hope she doesn't end up with an old roll top one - she'll never get her bum in it (we inherited one with our house - it's minute at the bottom, uncomfortably high, the water gets cold really really fast; we can't wait 'til we can afford to get a new one!)

LadyOfWaffle · 16/04/2009 21:00

I thought you were on about sewing ladies emerald until I saw Kirsties topaz/aquamarine (?) Yikes

OP posts:
Pinkjenny · 16/04/2009 21:02

Ah well, over to Katie and Peter. Top class viewing in the Pink house tonight!

spikemomma · 16/04/2009 21:03

lady - that one and the one she had on when sewing. i didn't miss the emerald on the teacher either. where do these people get their lolly from? all that said, i'm not into jewels myself, but you know, it's the principle!

expatinscotland · 16/04/2009 21:04

I think the ruby one looked pretty real, though, spike. She had it on when she was doing the sewing.
