Anyone else excited about this starting up soon?

I'm guessing that The Oceanic 6 are going to go back to the island.

wasnt it fantastic! when sayid shot ben, I was just :0 didnt believe it would work either!

FWIW I reckon that lost created itself. so John locke went up to richard (in the past) and said he was chosen or something, which starts the myth that john locke heard from the others earlier in the season.

And ben says sayid is a killer cos he remembers being shot by him when he was young, which leads sayid to shoot him!

I dont think they CAN change anything, but that evrything that has happened WILL happen. I think that sayid shooting ben creates the war with the others and eventually leads to the purge.

Love it!

I was a bit that Sayid wouldnt walk over and finish Ben off as he would with a professional hit.

Btw I've forgotten where Locke is...is he on the other island in the future? Where Sun and Ben were?

Yes giantkatestacks - I think that's what irritated me also about Sayid shooting Ben.

Either he is a professional killer, as he said - in which case he would have finished the job off properly, or he shouldn't have shot Ben and could have used him psychologically.

Think it is a bit of a cop out by the writers and not very true to Sayid's character, to leave Ben open to survival.

(If indeed he does survive. Gah!)

Yes I think Locke is on other Island in future/present because didn't they show him an injured Ben at the end of 'Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham', and at the start the survivors of that crash found him in a suit on the beach (suit he was buried in).

Any thoughts on where the hell Daniel is??

raggedtrousers I was thinking that about Locke the only reason Richard went to see him as a child was to prave what Locke was telling the truth, so as you said they think he is special, but to throw spanner in the works Richard knew how to save island, so still think Richard is v imp and he hasn't aged

I'm so confused. I can't keep up with it all. It's on again on Sky 2 at the moment. Trying not to watch it as it'll only frustrate the life out of me!
I still reckon there's going to be a link between the bullet and the tumour. Could the bullet have entered his chest and lodged in his spine, maybe????
Could Jack and Juliet operate on young ben this time and older Ben in the future.

Ha - loved Hurley tonight and all his time travelling questions - he is as confused as we are! Loved it when he wondered 'well if Sayid shot Ben why didn't Ben remember him when he met him as an adult' and Miles is like hmm, good point Hurley.

And then did anyone buy Bentham's explanation about taking the injured Ben and saving him, but in return Ben will be 'changed' forever and won't remember being shot by Sayid later? Hmm, very handy.

Although I did like the fact that Jack thought he was doing them all a favour by not saving Ben so he would die, but in fact his inaction has led Ben to be changed for the bad by the Others.

SO it's all Jack's fault! V. clever.

Good episode I think.

So....what did everyone think of tonights confusefest?
Wonder if that's why Jack's name wasn't on Jacob's original list - because he refused to help out young Ben when the rest of them did?

Very sad when Kate was leaving Aaron.

Loved Hurley's time travel questions. He's as confused as I am.

What did Richard mean about Ben losing his innocence and never being the same again? Any ideas?

Am v confused. Meant Richard's explanation of Ben's 'changing'. Not Bentham.

I hope Claire's mum did pick Aaron up from the motel room! Kate just said 'he's ready when you are' and then left him asleep in the room by himself!

AIBU to leave my toddler alone asleep in a motel room?

After Desmond punched Ben and he fell in the Marina with blood spurting from his mouth, did we see Desmond and Penny again, or was that it from them this week?

Yay - go Desmond.
Had been starting to wonder if maybe Charles Widmore was the good guy....however after tonight's episode and Ben's flashbacks can see what a baddy he really is.
Still as confused as ever though and no idea what on earth is going on.
Love the way the writers have you sympathise with and despise Ben all in the space of a few minutes.
And John Locke - how does he know what he knows???

Think Des and Penny named Charlie after dead Charlie as Des was with him when he died and Penny was speaking to him on the radio when they were in the underwater station.
However this is Lost and therefore anything is possible. Not sure though where heroin addict Charlie's strong northern accent comes from if he is the son of posh Pennie and Scottish Desmond.

I think they named their son after Charlie as Desmond was good mates with Charlie on the island.

Another thought - isn't it a bit weird that Des and Penny named their son Charlie (presumably after rock star Charlie) when Penny's dad is Charles and they both absolutely hate him??????

My Sky froze at the bit where Ben was about to shoot Penny when it fixed itself Desmond was beating up Ben - Did Ben fire the shot or not?
