Um, as the name suggests, where is Claire? The last we saw of her was in the cabin with her dad, acting all spaced out. Why hasn't anyone asked about her or wondered where she is?

Oh yes she would have travelled through time too, shes obviously hiding out with Christian but then the cabin wouldn't be built yet
Didn't Hector build the cabin?

she died didnt she? thats why she was with christian. I assumed that they all knew she was dead.

I don't think we know whether or not Claire is dead. She was with Sawyer and Miles and she just got up and wandered into the jungle. Next time we saw her she was with Christian in the cabin - doesn't necessarily mean she's dead.

Where are Rose and Bernard and all the other people that were still on the beach? Is that who Jin and Sawyer were looking for when they found Kate, Jack, etc?

I think Jin was looking for Jack etc, they have been looking for them for the last three years.

If Juliette knows that at some point the Dharma camp gets wiped out then why is she so bloody relaxed about living there?

I will happily take either a clean or a dirty Sawyer.

Don't worry Ladyhelen it wasn't on last Sunday so you haven't missed anything. The last we saw was Jin taking Sawyer to see Jack, Kate etc (in 1977).

Claire isn't dead, the actress who plays her is signed up for the next series. Not quite sure why she's not in this one.
The pace of this series seems to have slowed down slightly, which is good, I think. It's going back to being slightly frustrating again!This weeks is good, but doesn't really answer many questions.
Think it's a double episode next week, then another break.

Just bookmarking this for when I eventually get to watch tonight's episode which will probably be Tuesday.

Just an interesting titbit - was reading an interview with Jim Robinson (sorry - I really can't think of him as anyone else ) and he said he has recently been filming an episode of Lost where he was playing himself but 20 years younger(something about pinning his skin back with a butterfly clip to remove the wrinkles ) so clearly at some point, they action must move to the late 80's/early 90's.

Where are you all??? Why has there been no discussion about this week's episode??

I have just watched it - I thought it was a good one.

So has anyone any ideas as to why Sun did not time travel with the rest of them? And if Ethan was 1 day old, why did he look about the same age as my 4-month old when Juliet picked him up

Was a bit disappointed the baby turned out to be Ethan TBH. I kind of wanted him to be someone much more significant.

Um what else? Oh yeah - at first I thought Sun had time travelled but was just on the other island. But I guess Christian showing her the photo of 1977 and saying you've got a journey ahead of you probably meant not.

Liked little speccy Ben.

Um, that's it for now.

(Still preferring clean Sawyer btw).

I am definitely liking clean Sawyer - particularly in that flowery shirt - yum yum!!

I read this on another thread and I can see it - did anyone else know that Ethan was played by Tom Cruise's cousin?

Now I wonder what made Ben and Ethan defect to the Others?

I was getting exasperated with it, but saw it Sunday night on rte2 and was loving all the time travel and Ben Linus as a boy and Ethan Rom as a baby. Love it, so clever it'll cut itself. And the 'shack' that they once stumbled on in series 2 is now a pristine new recruitment centre. So clever.

Ben Linus and Ethan Rom were brought up as "others". Ethan was born on the Island and Ben Linus arrived there at about 9 yrs old after his mother died in childbirth (not sure of the significance of that yet).

Was Ethan the last baby to be born on the Island before all the mothers started dying in childbirth? Ethan tried to snatch Aaron from Claire. So could it be that no babies had been born on the Island between Ethan and Aaron???

....Just remembered Rousseau'd daughter so that's my theory out the window

Ethan Rom (or the actor who played him) was closer to 40 than to 30 sorry to split hairs!

Maybe Juliet and Sawyer know that they have years before the dharma initiative is wiped out, is that why they are relaxed?

Anyone else see someone (a girl??) standing behind Sun when she was talking to Christian Shepherd in the abandonded Dharma place. Was it someone caught in shot or meant to be Claire/ Charlotte or somebody? Maybe I was just seeing things!
Also loving Sawyer clean/dirty/jumpsuit/flowery shirt/whatever!

Pat- I didn't see it at the time, but I've seen a screenshot and it definitely looks like someone standing in the background. I was wondering if it was meant to be Claire?
Sayid episode this week, which is always a good thing, quite a lot of Sawyer too, and a great 'you can't do that!' cliffhanger ending!

Just getting this back on my threads - thanks anathema for this weeks info - soemthing to look forward to...

My dp was saying the other day that he likes the way the names of the characters all mean something - like Jeremy Bentham and Richard Alpert - does anyone know of any others that are 'real' people?
