Am going to have to think up a new 24 name....and will need to recap last season and Redemption before monday but thought I would be first in with a thread.

Okay, through away your baby name books, I think this is a brilliant selection although there seem to be so many more boys than girls. I will try to dig up more girls. I am sick today and having a bed day, dh and ds gone out for the day. I have nohting better to do than meditate on all the characters of 24

Another lurker outing themselves to say they have loved following this thread. I am a devoted 24 watcher since the first series -spent every Sunday evening on the end of my boyfriends bed, watching on his tiny telly rapt while he slept, trying to ignore my longstanding Kiefer love. Now we've been living together for 6 years and I get to watch it properly on a nice big telly - though he still insists on calling him Keith-er just to wind me up. Anyway, thought I'd out myself as also have a 24 pregnancy (first baby, boy due July 20th) and thought I could make the sad admission here that when the series started I actually counted the weeks ahead on the calendar to see how far gone I would be when it ended - - as it turns out, not as far as I thought cos they've doubled up a few . If we settle on the name we think we will then the baby won't have the name of a character but I did notice in the credits after one episode that he will have the name of one of the actors (the one who was in cahoots with Tony and hid out in that building after Tony killed Larry, for the detectives amongst you)- think that makes me even sadder

ohfuschia - I used to watch the first series on a tiny telly too on the end of my bed - though it was before I met DH and in a shared house I lived in. Didn't want to risk watching it in the living room in case anyone dared to speak and I missed any dialogue!

When DC2 was newborn I convinced DH he would love it and we bought series one on DVD (had to fight to keep my mouth shut re the whole Nina thing). Series 1-5 got us all through DC2s first few months of evening cluster feeding! This is the first series I have watched 'live' since series one and baby DC3 joins us for the odd episode if she doesn't fancy sleeping .

Think my DH loves Kiefer as much as I do too!

Hello lurkers! We nearly chose a 24 name for DD's but unintentionally, honest

I wasn't on the last thread as I didn't want spoilers but agree about the nephew/son thing, we honestly thought it would come into it with the mum saying that he had to rescue him as he was his son or something.

DD was going to be 'Maia' until I'd seen 24 - it put me right off!

As much as I adore Kiefer Sutherland, part of me cannot get over just how not sexy his name is.
