I sat with my jaw on the floor listening to Mutya justifying nominating Verne because his issues make her feel awkward.

Does she not realise that her self-absorbed tedious twat syndrome is upsetting some viewers too

It is very shocking that she can't commnicate with someone becasue of their physical condition. But that's what the fear that drives discrimination looks like. Just like Coolio's lashes out at the women he finds attractive when he knows they wouldn;t go near him in a million years. That's the fear that drives sexism. Two of them in the house plain as day!

Gosh - You are right. it is fear based.
My DS2 is gorgeous but I see people recoil when they realise he has SN. I think they fear the embaressment - the uncertainty caused by being with someone who will not react and respond as you expect.

( I still think she is totally shallow though )

She is like Tina in some ways. Have you noticed that they are spending lots of time together? Tina, Ulrika and Mutya are a bit of a clique.

I think Tommy showed how to conquer that though. It's quite natural for some people to be a bit intimidated by somthing they are ignorant of, whatever it is - but he just went and asked Verne about his condition and Verne was able to tell him.

Some people justa arent ready for it I suppose, but I can't believe she is wanting to vote him out becasue of it. No empathy, just disgust almost

Re Ben and Michelle-- She is def overreacting...you know, the old 'lady doth protest too much'.... I think there must be something more too it, and here are my theories:

  1. Michelle has been unfaithful to her boyf in the past and is scared of repercussions.
  1. Michelle's boyf is a control freak nutter who she's scared of.
  1. She does fancy Ben and is feeling guilty.

She just seems to be getting in a state about 'Hugh' (boyf) but she hasn't actually done anything wrong??? Why should she be concerned that he won't be waiting for her when he gets out?

However, she does need to toughen up a bit, just tell uncoolio to F off.

Hope Tina goes.

Michelle cheated on her ex DH 3 times and got a thrashing in the papers for it, I think that has something to do with her being ultra-sensitive because she is VERY camera conscious. Others in the house have commented on this, that she pretends to be all shy and innocent girly-wirly. Still, even if 'millionaire' Hugh does dump her, she's going to make a killing repeating her Coolio hell to all the trash mags.

No I don't think so. They might find each other attractive, they are of similar age and backgrounds, but that's not the same as the chantelle/preston scenario. Coolio is just doing it for his own profile, he doesn;t care if he hurts people. He's board and is lashing out at the weakest housemember at the mo. That's the definition of a bully. Why does this always happen with BB?

Wow! What a show!

I think Ulriuka and especially Michelle are fab. For me, it's MIchelle to win at this moment.

Latoya seems to be allying herself with what she sees as teh 'alpha' male - coolio, when he is nothing but the sort. Hes just the loudest. Thats maybe cos she's still attracted to v bad men maybe - or at least, lets not take relationship lessons off Latoya 'its best not to have any friends' Jackson - as doelike as she is.

Coolio did the right thing in the moment - lets see if her can do it instinctily.

The bores for me are -

1 Mutya
2 Ben
3 Latoya

get them out and we might see some true magic!

But Latoya - did anyone notice that when she crossed her legs she did'nt relax them? It seems a bit too Oscar Wildean with her - the appearance is more than the substance?
