This BB was rubbish I thought. Even the tasks they were given were a bit boring.
I dread to think how boring it would have been if it wasn't for Coolio adding a bit of entertainment and stirring things up.

Most of them made it so obvious they were only in it for the money anyway.

Another Endemol fix, then?

Dreyfus · 23/01/2009 23:01

So pleased with this result - yayy! What a shock for those blokes in there, I bet they'd written her off.

I think I started to like Ulrika when I saw her dressed as a squaw with a bow and arrow, that determined look on her face, and bruises all up her arm from practising.

tiredsville · 23/01/2009 23:02

I also think this has been the most boring Celebrity BB. It's not the show we will be talking about years later, unlike the George, Jodie, Barry, Pete Burn's show, That was hilarious.

Monkeytrousers · 23/01/2009 23:04

Fix my arse. First Rachel, then Ulrika. It's wind of change, thats what it is

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 23/01/2009 23:05

Rachel... rachel...

????

Wintersun · 23/01/2009 23:06

Fix your arse? wind of change? What are you on about, woman??

CuddlyKelpie · 23/01/2009 23:08

Tiredsville, did you want more angst as per Jade and her racist pals?

Don't forget the bullying as seen by Barrymore and Pete Burns.

Perhaps the current climate favours a more humane and representative winner? I would far rather be likened to Ulrika than many of the others of recent years. I doubt I am alone.

Monkeytrousers · 23/01/2009 23:13

Rachel. The last winner of BB.

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 23/01/2009 23:17

Ah is that the non-sleb version?

No cuddly, this obsession with bulling is getting quite boring.
I ment amusing memories of George Galloway acting the a pussycat licking his whiskers for example

HolyGuacamole · 24/01/2009 00:22

OMG! Did anyone see BBLB?

When Ulrike was brought in, a guy in the audience asked her something like "well, since you've now earned your £175,000 fee, will you be buying any more 4x4's?" That was SO NOT FUNNY, she looked really upset and then quickly thought of a stupid answer to shut him up. I felt really sorry for Ulrika, everyone else was like , I thought Tina was gonna go over and bop him one. (For anyone that's wondering, 4x4 is referring to her having 4 kids to 4 different fathers.)

Rude b*stard, she didn't deserve that!! Mentioning her fee then mentioning her private life like that on telly just to be a smart arse

What a tosser!

lucykate · 24/01/2009 00:32

talking of bblb, did you hear what tina said about michelle when asked about the shrek reference?

"i can loose weight, she'll always be thick"!

bellabelly · 24/01/2009 00:34

I wanted Terry to win! [sob]

CuddlyKelpie · 24/01/2009 01:52

Tiredsville lol! that was very strange behaviour!

Bring Gorgeous George back! Prrt?

candyfluff · 24/01/2009 08:02

im really shocked that ulrika won due to all the boo's she was getting from the crowd.
i wanted terry to win

posieflump · 24/01/2009 08:08

I think the voters wanted to stick 2 fingers up at Coolio's sexist attitude so wanted a woman to win tbh

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 24/01/2009 09:18

I bet the tosser who asked Ulrika about her 4x4 wouldn't have asked Coolio about his 4x4, eh? Or is it 6x4 in his case?

People are obsessed about bullying in BB because it ALWAYS happens, doesn't it? It's a small enclosed space with disparate personalities who can't get away from each other and have no outside perspective. It is an environment where bullying is part of the deal and that's why it's always a focus of attention.

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 24/01/2009 09:19

I think with the crowd booing, you get the real diehard fans who are stupid committed enough to queue for hours in the freezing cold just to catch a glimpse of a sleb, so they are probably not representative of the wider audience.

shabster · 24/01/2009 09:41

Every time Davina evicted someone Terry started picking up his coat thinking she was going to say his name! Really liked him all the way through....love how he is proud of his Manc accent and is just himself.

Tillyscoutsmum · 24/01/2009 10:17

I'm glad Ulrika won and love the way people shout "fix" when they probably haven't been bothered to actually vote. Most of the voters are women and as such, Coolio would not have won.

Ulrika got shit from Coolio and Terry and was nominated 4 times and she took it all in good grace. She was a pretty unwilling housemate to begin with but still threw herself into all the tasks. She seemed to be completely herself (bossiness included) and showed her human side when she missed her children. The part when she was the squaw and the children were running round was so sad. Even then she didn't wail like Michelle did on a regular basis.

I think she went in being a bit of a villain and managed to change a lot of people's perceptions. Terry did the same and people like to see a "journey" [vomit emoticon]

I also think people are fed up of housemates getting the "sympathy" vote and that's why Verne didn't do as well as some people expected.

Good result imho

Right, when's the next one ?

Feenie · 24/01/2009 10:26

"Don't forget the bullying as seen by Barrymore and Pete Burns."

Bullying? Please!

Monkeytrousers · 24/01/2009 10:27

I dodn't think she looked hurt by the 4x4 comment. Water off a ducks back. She's had to put up with far worse from Vic and Bob.

God, can you imagine Latoya at their mercy?

MrsMattie · 24/01/2009 10:30

I wanted Terry to win (he cracked me up...so dry...and such a shit stirrer...), but I'm glad Ulrika won. That woman takes so much crap for absolutely nothing (the whole 4x4 thing makes me sick...nobody jokes about Rod Stweart or any of the other billions of men out there with multiple offspring).

She seems like a good woman to me. Maybe not 'nicey nicey', but then why do women always have to be 'nice'?

Good on ya, Ulrika!

bigTillyMint · 24/01/2009 10:37

I'm with you Shabster - Terrry should have won. Ulrika was just a grumpy old woman. laToya was right about all her facial expressions (I'm sure I'd be giving the same looks if I'd been stuck in there), but Terry was upbeat, laid back and funny.
