Another X factor Thread! Why does everyone hate on Alex???

Alexander Burke the Xfactor winner and out of all of them deserved the title she is by far an amazing singer, I don't know why so many people are putting her down.

I think she worked really hard to get to where she is and I hope she goes on to win the Christmas number 1.

Alex with out a doubt has to be the best singer that has come out of X Factor. Lenoa Lewis is good but she does not have as much singing range as Alex.

Also I loved JLS but they could of been better if Louis was not there mentor.

I don't think she thought she was going to win I thought maybe JLS would of got it I am just glad it was not that little irish lad.

I watched the final yesterday and spent the duration shouting GET A GRIP, WOMAN!!!

Far too OTT

Cringey in the extreme

I didn't think she was amazing, either... not bad but nothing really special - all that "A star is born tonight" bollocks from Simon Cowell

I did love her version of Candy Man though - was fab and she looked great

she looked and sounded great when she did candy man fresh and vibrant the diva stuff gets on my nerves though.
She looked fab on gmtv she has got a great voice and is talented.

I so wanted JLS to win - we really need a decent British boy band - particularly a black boy band - the last black male group we had was Damage I think....

Leona is a million times better than Alex - Alex could never compare to her. Part of what made her such a deserving winner was her modesty.

Alex should have taken a leaf out of her book - I was cringeing when she won - it was awful - all that fake shock.

She is up her own arse already. I predict she will be like Jamelia - no better than her. And at least Jamelia appears fairly grounded.

All that crap about being brought up by a single parent - so what? so are millions of other kids - and her mum was a singer fgs

I think she's a great singer and downloaded her song (plus the older version) which is an X Factor first for me

But I hate the way she breaks down when someone like MAriah comes on stage- er what?

And I would ahve loved a non- X Factor No 1 (have downloaded a few othr ones today to balance LOL)

And you know what? Whilst I know intelectually that Leona is good I really don't like her voice eprsonally. Not for me at all. Neither are the songs she sings mind- not really my style.

I liked JLS, so glad Eoghan (sp?) didn't win

Argh, i couldn't watch her, so ott, fake and annoying and as for the crying and dropping to the floor, don't get me started on her!!! It was fixed for her to win all along and Leona is a better singer by far...

I think she has an amazing voice but all that "oh my god" crap when she was singing with Beyonce was wayt OTT. They must have rehearsed beforehand so she knew what was coming.

And the bit at the end when she was announced the winner made me turn off.

Best person won though.
