Oooh, thanks. Enjoyed that Good for her kicking up a stink about their pay. If that's true then it's appalling. I hadn't realised that she'd split from Matthew. As I say, I thought they were a very odd couple. In fact, when I first saw that they were a couple I assumed it was a marriage of convenience to get her a visa!
So if they didn't have a sleb dancer for Nicole, how come they replaced her with Hayley (who they did have a sleb dancer for). I suppose Mark Foster would have been way too tall for Nicole.
Also hadn't realised Flavia was still with Vincent when she started seeing Matt Di Angelo. Blimey! I'm having a bit of a gossip overload

Am loving the gossip on here. My dh thought that nicole was a tad scary and that the powers at be thought she would be better NOT on a prime time children about slot! But then he is probably being mean.

Sorry billysitch . Not sure how I missed out on that one. I knew about the Adrian and Christine goss though. Not sure there's anything in it. Surely he wouldn't turn up for the show every week if they were really having an affair.

Am I the only person who doesn't mind Tess Daly? I think she's a bit of a rubbish presenter but I still don't really mind her. Her rubbish presenting skills and Brucie's dodderiness kind of work well together in a weird way. It's like Saturday night entertainment from 20 odd years ago...a not-always-funny male presenter and a glamorous female co-presenter/assistant to give the dads something to ogle . I think DP fancies her.

Also, am I the only person who thinks Austin's 'guns' are a bit yuck and he should keep them covered up?!

Claudia would be a great presenter though. Don't know why they don't have her on the weekend shows. She's really funny.

I was looking at photos from the last Strictly Live thingy ... that appeared to have been presented by Kate Thornton ... what about her as a Tess replacement??

Hayley was ok and worked very hard but compare her to Brian and Kristina, the other newbies, and she has not made an impression on me really.
I hope Brian and Kristina stay and do other series. Karen could go and I'd not miss her really, though I loved her with Mark Ramps. I like all the others, even James after this series. He is so patient with Cherie stepping on his toes .

Has anyone been to the live show? Contemplating getting tickets. Where should I sit???

Heh, sorry, got a bit carried away there She used to present the X Factor and was truly rubbish - really unlikeable, robotic and fake fake fake. She would ruin the cuddly ambience of Strictly.

Ah, you see, I've never watched X factor.
I bet she wouldn't do it anyway as people tend to be a bit funny about 'crossing over' between the 2 rival shows Sharon Osbourne was asked if she'd like to do Strictly now that she's left X Factor. She apparently said she'd like to do it but not this year as she thought that would be an insult to the X Factor people (again!)

Actually you could have Anton and Christine Bleakley. She'd at least know what everyone was going through and she is supposed to be a presenter.

AFAIK they are still married, Freckle, and their website mentions them getting married with no word of a divorce...
Personally I take a lot some of that article with a big pinch of salt... also, if it was soooo bad, why did she do 3 serise and want to go back for a 4th??
