Here we go...

OP posts:
cyteen · 02/11/2008 12:29

Tigers, I thought Rachel would wow in the jive as well but she just didn't have the bounce. For such a small, cheery person she was really leadfooted, I thought.

cyteen · 02/11/2008 12:31

PPC, Tom's expression reminded me of this

Tigerschick · 02/11/2008 12:38

LOL cyteen - you're not far off with the mouth there

PinkPussyCat · 02/11/2008 14:15

Lol cyteen Beaker With Stubble

carrotsandpeasifyouplease · 02/11/2008 14:18

watched this morning with baby;

Jodie & Ian - i think he is in love with her, dress was awful on her but yes hair was gorg and dance was their best by far

Love Brian and sometimes Heather is brilliant at certain moves but she looks like she stops sometimes.

Andrew needs to go but it looks like Ola has warmed to him.

Camilla is like an overgrown (underweight) stage school kid and i think Toms wife has told him not to look at her in that adoring way the others do to their partners as last week anyway he kept avoiding her eyes.

Rachael was disapointing i was watching it and thinking this isnt going to be one that they show as classics (eg. Louise L)

Cherie was cringeworthy

i can't warm to Erin at all but Austin is very good, so bouncy.

jenk1 · 02/11/2008 14:59

does anyone else think that Len cannot stand Tom? the past 2 weeks hes been quite critical of him,and last night said no dont look like that when tom pulled his face,i think it was last night or could have been last week.

JoolsToo · 02/11/2008 15:10

what really irks me about the judges is that they clearly have favourites so for instance they love Cherie so when she's crap which is quite often now, the criticisms are all flowered up but they don't pull their punches with Heather who I thought was quite good last night actually. It's not nice to watch.

JoolsToo · 02/11/2008 15:10

don't you think they have given Jodie some crap dresses? She looked bloody awful last night

DownyEmerald · 02/11/2008 15:16

Totally agree with cyteen about Rachel - I thought she was going to be another Jill Halfpenny. I wondered if the beat was a little slow - sometimes easier with bouncy things if its a bit faster? And her flicks? from the knee were dreadful!

I loved Jodie's waltz, but the dress again! like the rumba dress made her look twice as wide as other girls!

Tigerschick · 02/11/2008 16:52

I can't bloody believe it!!
The results show clashes with the new serise of Top Gear!!
So we'll only be tuning in for the actual results bit then I'll watch the pro dances on the iplayer in the morning. Gutted.

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 02/11/2008 17:02

Tiger - I COMPLETELY agree with your re. Louisa - I really wish she was in this years competition. She was fantastic.

Ah yes, Zoe was wonderful. Her showdance was fantastic and would have won.

dh HAS JUST COME HOME AND IS WATCHING (doh!)Grand prix on sky + and I'm worried that it won't be finished by the time strictly starts!! I'm stressing I have it on sky + but still like to watch it 'live'.

pinkteddy · 02/11/2008 20:04

Initially I didn't get why Len was so critical of Rachel's dance but on watching it again I think I get what he means - it just didn't flow in the way that say Jill Halfpenny's did or Louisas.

Cherie's salsa I thought was awful on first watch but when I watched it again it was OK actually just very careful - not free like a salsa should be.

I think Andrew in dance off and probably Heather or maybe even Cherie?

Agree Margo - loved Zoe's showdance was watching it today on youtube - how sad am I?!

Anyone going to see the Strictly 2009 tour? - Jill Halfpenny in it apparently.

squeaver · 02/11/2008 20:14

Totally agree about Zoe - she was the one who got away in my book.

Febes · 02/11/2008 20:30

TALLULAHBELLE · 02/11/2008 20:49

harpomarx · 02/11/2008 20:49

asdmumandteacher · 02/11/2008 20:50
