I'm a big fan of 70's and 80's t.v series and would appreciate some ideas on what to watch next.

They don't have to be set in those decades, just made then.

One I've been considering purchasing is Upstairs Downstairs, is that worth a watch?

Recent series I've loved are All Creatures Great and Small,Dick Turpin,Nanny,Me and My Girl, Some Mother's Do 'Ave em and Fawlty Towers.

I'd love suggestions of just about anything from dramas to comedies.

Sapphire and Steel is still good now. I recently got the set on DVD and still find the storylines and effects scary.

They've recently released the first series of Nanny on DVD Southeastra, which is how I discovered it.

I think it's excellent though I didn't expect it to make me cry so much.

I'm eagerly anticipating the release of series 2 and 3.
