I'm a big fan of 70's and 80's t.v series and would appreciate some ideas on what to watch next.

They don't have to be set in those decades, just made then.

One I've been considering purchasing is Upstairs Downstairs, is that worth a watch?

Recent series I've loved are All Creatures Great and Small,Dick Turpin,Nanny,Me and My Girl, Some Mother's Do 'Ave em and Fawlty Towers.

I'd love suggestions of just about anything from dramas to comedies.

Have recently watched Upstairs Downstairs and it was compulsive, despite the 1970's make up. The First World War ones were brilliant. Could also try:

Edward and Mr Simpson
Duchess of Duke Street
Edward VIII
The Sweeney
Rising Damp
Whatever Happened to The Likely Lads?
Howard's Way - just for the 1980's campness and over acting..it was our answer to Dynasty!
