Am I the only one actually watching this?Surprised there's not a thread about it!
Must be one of the saddos that likes choir singing.

Mind you some of the contestants are not really my idea of a choir! [pulls on slippers and buttons up dressing gown!]

LOVED the young welsh choir and would have sulked if they hadn't been put through.

Thought that Sense of sound were brilliant on their second and third performaqnce but dire to start with.

Yes, Only Men Aloud did win, and rightly so.

We all loved this whole competition in our house, and the only reason we're not devastated that it's finished is because Strictly will be back soon...

yay! strictly!! i have enjoyed this, but still cannot stand Russell Watson, and am not sure why!!

I can't stand russell watson either. Gives me the creeps. I'd recorded the first programme yesterday and watched it just before the results, so at least I could fast forward over his singing. I always got the impression the other two judges couldn't stand him either - whatsername with the blonde hair is so much more qualified than he is to cast judgement - I thought she looked quite surprised at some of his comments.

On the night i'd have been happy for any of the 3 choirs to win. Only men aloud have a certain something - cheekyness perhaps - that i've enjoyed. Revelation i've never particularly thought of as a choir. The school i think are fantastic and think some of the comments about them have been unfair.

In the first show i actually thought "Only Men" were the weakest. I also would have like to hear Susie's comments after the school sang "all that jazz" which i think they did well - interesting arrangement but not sure it really suited them.

I thought the judges were really pushing for Revelation to win. I liked the sound they made, but I never really thought of them as a choir - they came over more as singers with a (very good) backing group. I wish I'd thought of fast forwarding through Russell Watson. How arrogant to use ACM as his backing group!
