what a bloody arse. all those kids basically looking after themselves. this is awful.

Alambil · 07/07/2008 23:06

poor, poor woman - i bet she didn't imagine this life for herself

AbstractMouse · 07/07/2008 23:06

Can you imagine living next door to them?

umberella · 07/07/2008 23:07

who are terry and andrew? more kids?

AbstractMouse · 07/07/2008 23:07

Poor poor woman had a choice in having 9 children though, surely?

Alambil · 07/07/2008 23:07

yes - his eldest children I think

umberella · 07/07/2008 23:07

that poor little baby. now i'm having a wee cry.

MmeLindt · 07/07/2008 23:07

poor woman my arse.

She could get off her arse and care for her kids.

That wee one is using a playstation. He seems to have a skin condition too.

pedilia · 07/07/2008 23:08

it just goes from bad to worse

mazzystar · 07/07/2008 23:08

they forgot to put him to bed?
christ

umberella · 07/07/2008 23:08

imagine foisting that sort of responsibility onto the shoulders of such young kids.

nancy75 · 07/07/2008 23:10

nothing round here fo rus to do? try going to school so you dont end up like the layabout father

umberella · 07/07/2008 23:10

i'm trying really hard not to be judgey but this is bloody appalling. how could they forget to put their baby to bed, it is heartbreaking.

Alambil · 07/07/2008 23:11

yeh but there's unjust judging and justified judging I think - and I think this is the latter

MmeLindt · 07/07/2008 23:12

I know what you mean Umberella, I feel all of a Daily Mirror-readery-judgey.

Why is the little one never dressed? He seems to sit around in a nappy all day.

expatinscotland · 07/07/2008 23:12

WHERE are social services now?!

why aren't they there with this family?

this is ridiculous.

ButterflyMcQueen · 07/07/2008 23:12

the kids dont seem bad really

mazzystar · 07/07/2008 23:12

It's not the having 20 kids per se that's the problem is it?

The people who lived opposite us when I was growing up had 13 children. House and kids all clean and tidy, all went to school, got their exams, doing okay. Their mother was lovely.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 07/07/2008 23:12

poor little boy curling up to sleep on floor in a blanket.

Alambil · 07/07/2008 23:12

probably because it's a tough case, expat - seems like, in light of recent news reports, they'd rather go for the sitting ducks

expatinscotland · 07/07/2008 23:12

those kids deserve so much more than they got.

umberella · 07/07/2008 23:13

s'pose so. i am trying to see some good in the parents but all i can see is them doing terrible terrible damage to their children. they are living like complete animals, it is totally totally wrong in so many ways . nobody is looking after them .

Alambil · 07/07/2008 23:13

no mazzy, that's true
