Slightly off topic but is anyone else finding this thread isn't appearing in their "watched" threads list even though they have watched it and posted to it?

I thought for a while we had a repeat of the accidental thread death!

Only just finished watching on catch up. I've been watching it for years and I still can't tell if the dances are good according to what the judges are looking for!

I loved Bethanny's dance tonight, and Nancy really made her the star.

Jojo seems more confident in his role. Its more comfortable watching him now.

I might sound like a killjoy now but i find the judges a bit disrespectful when they really muck about instead of giving their comments. Anton going on about the iceberg annoyed me.

I think Sarah will be in the dance off - maybe with Shaun

could be Will and Diane also dance off

She was at my school!

Bethany and Sarah in the bottom two I think. They are the most forgettable.

Will is looking remarkable for someone who had a baby last week….. I could barely walk never mind dance. He must have had a really pleasant birthing experience to be up and about so quickly. He clearly didnt need any stitches, lucky him.

Meanwhile, his fiancé who actually did have a baby last week is dealing with the newborn all alone whilst he’s off learning to dance. He needs to go home and be with her and the baby that she had. He’s gone right down in my estimations!

Loved Jamie this week and thought SWP did well this week too in terms of improvement!

I also agree that Anton and CRH looked like Kevin and Perry! It was the first thing I thought when I saw them 🤣

TBH it’s become a bit pantomime with the judges the constant mucking about being silly is distracting. Back in the day with Len it was more serious dancers were given constructive feedback now it’s like they all have to be snippy and make stupid remarks. Craig is harsh but truthful, Motsi thinks it’s all about her, Anton likes to play good cop with his over marking and let’s not be in any doubt Shirley only likes the younger men definitely has her favourites! Think it’s had its day tbh. Anyhoo back to this week I think Sarah and possibly Grahame or Sean in dance off

Did anyone else notice that the music was the same as Jay and Aliona's paso? The choreography was very similar as well, although Jay was obviously miles better (his paso was better than his jive imo). Strictly does love to recycle.

Strictly have always reused songs though.
I actually think the choreography is similar to Nigel's paso. Even Katya's outfit here reminded me of the one she wore a few years ago.

I enjoyed last night. I’m not sure who will be in the dance off. Sarah was probably the weakest but I thought everyone danced well and they all seem to be enjoying themselves. I can’t remember now who I gave my votes to! I think I gave at least 1 to Lawrence, Lacey & Tabby?

Josh seemed much more ‘himself’ this week and it all felt more relaxed/natural with Emma & Josh this week (even though most of it is scripted).

Doesn't need three presenters. Ma Willis is great at the job. Josh like a spare part and could do upstairs. Johannes can do roving reporter around training vids [if we MUST have them].

Some of the marking off this week. Not enough for some, far too much for others.
Can someone please tell Shirley we don’t need a monologue from her each and every time she gives her views on the dancers performance.

I don’t think Shaun or Graeme will be in the dance off.
I think it could be any of the bottom three though. Dani, Bethany and sadly, Sarah.

If Delta has a broken rib, do we realistically think she’ll be back?

I can’t remember if I wrote broken rib , but she has damaged it. Kai sounded positive she will return on it takes two , but it must have been painful.

They did last year too and Shirley also wore an "Who the hell is she?" outfit.

Maybe it would have been better, as they were Lady Gaga and Beyonce, to have both worn looks from the Telephone video.
The Coke cans and studded jacket would have been far better on Shirley, imo, and Motsi would have looked amazing in the yellow dress Beyonce wears in it.
I'm perfectly prepared to be told Motsi was wearing an outfit from the video, I'm not that familiar with it.
Still think the looks I described would have been better choices.
I loved, loved, loved Craig and Anton as the Gallaghers, especially Craig.

Sarah will be in DO I reckon as she’s bottom maybe Shaun too. I’m surprised he’s still in and survived 2 DO.

Felt sorry for Sarah. They put her in a mumsy old fashioned outfit for a Shania Twain song.
Shania invariably wears very short skirts or shorts. The outfit was completely wrong.

Really enjoyed last night's show. Loved a lot of the music, which helps, and most couples are improving, so the dances were generally better. Some of the scores were odd though. I think Sarah may go. She never seems to give it enough welly, it's all a bit lack lustre.

Jaime and Carlos! Wow, that was iconic. Didn't get to see that last night. Best dance of the night for me.

The judges are getting a bit too silly - not sure what that's all about this season. Yeah does feel a bit disrespectful to the dancers - daft one minute, serious the next.
