I think if she had worn a different outfit it would have showed her dance far better. People watch the whole thing. If the music does not match the dance ( this arguably did not ), the outfit does not fit the mood of the music then the dancer is on the back foot ( excuse the expression) before they even begin.
The choreography too matters a lot. A professional who is excellent at it will get their partner further along. One that is not creative will end up in the dance off early.

Jamie is very good and I bet that Lacey finds her inner Stacey and does one dance that gets the tens ! She has to believe in herself. I thought that was good , but the judges were not keen at all. Didn’t sound too impressed, but maybe because they know she can get over the nerves and be really good ?
Or maybe finding it all just too tricky ?

I think one or two dancers are wary of the Strictly curse. And keep their dancers at arms length a bit. But to the detriment of their dances.

I get the impression that Lacey isn’t keen on Vito really. She looked a bit fed up with the joking around.
He is lovely, but maybe not for her!

Absolutely! The average voter at home doesn’t know what to look for technically. Especially with the camera angles they use. But they do know about nice outfits, good music and the whole thing coming together in a Saturday night escapism type way.

I feel the same about Delta @the80sweregreat & it’s how I felt about Alexandra Burke back in the day. No idea why as I’m sure they’re perfectly lovely women but not my cup of tea at all.

Delta was on the voice last night and showed a lot more personality , but maybe because it was singing ?
She is one I would avoid though , we’d never get on at all !

Tabby seems so lovely and smiley and enjoying it all.
Her partner seems nice too.
She is good , but not that well known ( I didn’t watch industry )
