I think Jerry is probably too well mannered and ladylike to yawn publicly.

Agreed - and I don't think RossKemp's nervous system is relaxed enough for him to yawn! He looked very alert, though that could just be the edit.

Maybe nobody, or a third person yet to enter?

I agree with this. The rumours are just theories in reality, we've no idea of knowing if they are true or not. They generate interest and a talking point.

I agree with you aswell that I think it'll be someone random that walks in and yawns and wont be Ross or Jerry at all

I think a randomer will walk in and yawn too!!!

And I bet it will be someone either Maya or James A really don’t want to murder (if they had a choice) but they know it’s their only chance!!

(Trying to think if any of them are particularly close to any other house members but nobody is coming to mind)

LightDuvet · 21/10/2026 11:05

Have they decided between themselves who says "Am I boring you, (name)?"

Imagine how weird it'll look if someone yawns and both Maya and James A go to say it at the same time...

CaveMum · 21/10/2026 11:38

I think it’s a big mistake to have 2 Traitors in the room trying to do the task. It’s potentially too risky and they could both get caught out. It’s far better to nominate one to carry it out and “trust” them to get it done. That way if it goes pear shaped it won’t endanger all Traitors.

Ooh, I’ve just realise I actually have 2 titles still to go, so we might be ok for thread names <first world problems>

Very good point!!!

Maya hasn't really been tested until this murder in plain sight and I think she's doing it really badly!

Of course she will have been discussed in the castle, they would be mad as a bunch not to consider everyone. But we haven't been shown those conversations because there has to be this cool, lead Traitor narrative. I think it would be far more interesting if we always felt they were getting away with it by the skin of their teeth Grin.

I doubt they'd have had multiple conversations in the castle about everyone.

Privately I'm sure contestants are holed up in their Inverness hotel rooms going through everyone else in the evenings.

But bringing someone up in conversation comes with risks - you can make yourself look suspicious, as if you're trying to throw people off the scent of whoever the group seems to be suspicious of. Or if you're right you can make the Traitors think you're good at sussing them out and a threat.

It's a survival game for the faithful as much as anything so staying under the radar, going with the group, being quiet but not too quiet - basically not sticking their head over the parapet- so they're not a target for murder or banishment. That's the way they'll get through.

Also on Uncloaked contestants do seem genuinely surprised it's Maya and James A. I wonder if it will change as her fake yawns are really unconvincing! I agree she's not doing it very well!

It would be fabulous drama if they were both rumbled!

But only one can be banished at a time. So if they are, they'll force recruit once the second one goes and only Kenny is left. Everyone will probably have forgotten the second one by the next day anyway!

If the faithfuls are smart (...) they won't let on, in the castle or at the RT, that they know both traitors' identities; they'll banish one, then make the odd comment the next day about being suspicious of random people, then banish the second at the next RT.

Third person is my guess.

Maya said in the last episode she is close to Joanne coz I'm pretty sure she said she hopes its not Joanne that yawns coz shes doesn't want to have to murder her yet. James A doesn't seem that close with anyone yet.

RipplePlease6 · 21/10/2026 16:36

Ohh a 3rd person entering the room…..didn’t think of that.
Yes, Maya’s fake yawns are ridiculous!!

Mimosaandonwards · 21/10/2026 16:54

I suspect they fail in their task. That might be the cause of the reference to breaking the game as the traitors have never failed to murder in plain sight before.

If the faithful aren't told at breakfast about the failed murder, they would likely assume someone has been recruited again.

User451278 · 21/10/2026 17:05

I’d love this actually but Jerry will block it.

i can imagine Ross insisting Maya and James A were both behaving suspiciously and Jerry insisting it was Ross behaving suspiciously.

The faithfuls are a mix of neurotics and chaotics. It is fun to watch them.

The serious people (exception of REG) were chosen to be Traitors. Easier to see from the outside of course.

TrepidationOfTheSpheres · 21/10/2026 18:01

Nobody really knows what time it is in there, and all the images of sandtimers etc might just be for the viewers - Maya and James might know they're under pressure and there is a time-limit, but I expect the timers can be adjusted if needed to make sure it happens (if that's what the producers have decided should happen) or doesn't happen (if they don't want it to at this point!)

Why don't they know the time? Are they not allowed wear an analogue watch?

TrepidationOfTheSpheres · 21/10/2026 18:30

Apparently they try to disguise the time from them somehow; I"m not sure quite how it works. Some of them seem to have watches that are blurred out in the round table, but it might be that they're just fitness trackers or they aren't at the right time or they don't always wear them or something. They don't want them knowing how long all the missions or the round tables take, or exactly what time it is when they go home, because none of it really happens on the time scale that the viewers eventually see. I guess they know when they finally get back to the hotel though. But 'midnight' at the castle I don't think is necessarily really midnight. And breakfast certainly can last for a long time! Round tables too, sometimes hours. They get meals though, so there must be some vague ideas of time, but not that precisely perhaps? I think they are least generally kept a bit fuzzy about what time it is and how long things are taking.

I think the castle breakfast is probably around midday, then they do the task, then back to the castle for dinner at around 5pm. Then the round table, drinks and hanging around until midnight.

User451278 · 21/10/2026 19:28

Oh yes I've heard on some podcasts that its a fake breakfast around midday and they have all already eaten in their hotel rooms.

Also some round tables are long and others are very short.

Fantasea · 21/10/2026 20:10

I remember Kate Garraway saying how much they were fed. Seeing as most of them just hold a piece of toast at breakfast and then there is just dinner when they get back to the castle after the mission, a lot of the eating must be done off camera.

Apparently they have breakfast at the hotel, which is a 45-min to 1-h drive away from the castle. So the breakfast scenes are just for show.

that plus the long filming hours makes me think the whole thing must be like a very intense business conference or something. I'd be absolutely knackered.
