I was watching something at the weekend, cannot remember what might have been Sunday brunch, anyway they were hinting that there is a massive fall out from the murder in plain sight task

TarraDiddles · 20/10/2026 13:28

OsfameronTanamoril · 20/10/2026 09:54

So agree with all this.

Me too.

Oh goody 😁

Stowickthevast · 20/10/2026 14:33

I think I heard that theory too @RipplePlease6

They make Ross yawn but he clicks straight away and tells the others if he's murdered it's James & Maya. There's a rumour that something happens that "breaks the show" and speculation that this may be it.

That would be amazing 😆 I'm guessing he would be discreet about it, just quietly letting a few people know so that when he doesn't turn up at breakfast, they can pass word around, but of course they tell Kenny so he can let Maya and James know but what can they do about it? If they go on the counter offensive, it's obvious that someone blabbed, etc.

However, I'm having fun imagining Rosskemp bolting from the room, shouting (yet again) that he's been murdered, while Maya and James scrabble after him, trying to pretend that they have no idea what's set him off "OH MY GOD Ross you absolute nutter, what is it with you!?"

ThatCyanCat · 20/10/2026 15:17

I don't see how spotting the murder in plain sight would break the show - the whole point is that it's risky for the traitors and very often it's followed by a task to work out who was murdered so there's every risk of being clocked; they're being asked to work out what happened. And didn't someone get caught out that way when it was the poisoned chalice?

And they can only banish one traitor at a time so they'll just forcibly recruit if they have to.

But I guess we will have to see!

PointyBirdsArePointyPointy · 20/10/2026 15:44

Might just be me (again!) but I count the “rumours” being posted here as spoilers. I just want to watch the programme in real time and not see snippets of “well I heard that this happened” on a spoiler free thread. Theories are one thing, but unfounded leaks should go somewhere else.

CaveMum · 19/10/2026 11:21

We might fill this thread before Wednesday at current rates - steady on because I may run out of GnR lyrics!

How about "Take me down to Ardross traitors city, Joanne's nails are green and Maya's so pretty. "Oh won't you give me a cloak?" Says Joe..."

Mooselove · 20/10/2026 18:01

I am not finding this celebrity traitors anywhere near as good as the first one. Not so keen on the celebs in it. Maya is so boring boring boring. Yes she is attractive (although I thought she was more attractive when her face was not as slim as it is now) but some personality would be good

Very much agree with this.

No spoilers, rumours or snippits of info - just chat about the epidodes content.

Maybe the rumour's true, but I somehow doubt it. It's so intriguing it's bound to encourage even more people to watch!

But fortunately Joanne isn’t that bothered. Another Faithful who’d said that would have been like a scarlet-faced deer in the headlights.

She said in her podcast that most of the cast went on mental health walks/talks while she looked out her hotel window at them. She didn’t say it but I took from it that she was wondering WTF.

Janes A should never have gone on it. I don’t care how deadpan he is blah blah. He is a terrible contestant.

User451278 · 20/10/2026 20:20

Maya is under the radar because she is so so so dull.

Can we refrain from commenting negativily about another woman's appearance/attractiveness?

It's just not needed.

In the most recent Irish Traitors, the victim of a murder in plain sight says ‘Did you just murder me?’ but it doesn’t subsequently necessarily go the way you might expect.

JaneJeffer · 20/10/2026 20:28

I wish people would stop telling others what they can and can’t say.

CaveMum · 20/10/2026 20:40

I think we are teetering close to spoiler territory now, so if we could just rein it in a bit to avoid potentially spoiling things.

I don’t mind speculating “what if someone does this or that” but posting stuff from elsewhere on t’interweb isn’t in the spirit of these threads.

for those worrying about my thread titles (cause I’m sure you’re all losing sleep over it), I do have one more appropriate Welcome to the Jungle lyric left up my sleeve - and it’s rather a good one, if I do say so myself!

I don't mind hearing rumours because we have no idea whether they're true so they can't spoil anything. And if something had been leaked, it wouldn't be anything as vague as "breaks the game", it would be actual detail. Wouldn't surprise me if the producers do the vague leaking to keep interest going now we have too long between episodes.

I'm like this too.

Rumours aren’t fact, so I don’t mind either.

For those saying Maya is boring, I don’t think she is at all. I think she’s great & comes across really well.

Respectfully disagree that a rumour can't spoil anything - for example if I say "I read a rumour Jerry yawns, is murdered, but Ross susses Maya and James A, so they get banished next and Miranda and Michael get recruited by Kenny" and then exactly that happens, it does spoil it as it's 'expected'.

That's made up btw! 😆

It's only a rumour, though, and everyone knows it's entirely possible, just like loads of other outcomes, so it doesn't mess with anything for me. You'd even get more of a surprise if it turned out to be wrong.
