Very true @ThatCyanCat

queenceleste · 20/10/2026 22:38

i hate the long wait!
Weds and Friday was Much Better!
I still miss Joe
i really think the missions sh**e this series as well! Just caca!

queenceleste · 20/10/2026 22:40

Rob Beckett on the Dish podcast was so so funny. Still pissed off that he was pointlessly murdered I’d have happily lost scaredy kemp and whoever the little mix woman is - I mean honestly
Comedians are such good value

RoxieLoxy · 20/10/2026 22:45

I don’t mind rumours either. Quite like them actually 😀

Also just caught up on The Rest is Entertainment podcast. Richard was saying what some of us have been saying here about how they should keep obvious traitors in as long as possible and then get rid of them at the end. Now Kenny has been recruited, they are worse off than ever. The ones who have watched previous series’ should know this tactic really.

He was also saying that the faithful should be trying to work out who the producers would have put with Richard. As they would be fairly certain there were two in the beginning and that Hannah wasn’t one of them. That leaves it likely that it was a younger woman and one that was quite sensible/mature. It was quite interesting. He did suggest that some of them will have likely thought this but be keeping it to themselves.

Recklessismymiddlename · 21/10/2026 05:34

Finally watched last night. The yawning 😁

LightDuvet · 21/10/2026 07:25

ThatCyanCat · 20/10/2026 22:29

It's only a rumour, though, and everyone knows it's entirely possible, just like loads of other outcomes, so it doesn't mess with anything for me. You'd even get more of a surprise if it turned out to be wrong.

I guess it's just that we're all different!

In any case, could we keep the threads rumour free and the users that like rumours can find them elsewhere on t'web?

It's actually cheered me up it's back on tomorrow (weeks are flying by...) but it was much better when it was Weds/Thurs/Fri.

If the press story about beef between James and Rob and Romesh is true maybe it was personal and Romesh will be on the chopping block soon.

TarraDiddles · 21/10/2026 07:51

I really hope it is Ross Kemp who yawns. His paranoia so far has been unattractive. Jerry is much more entertaining.

GobbolinoAndSootica · 21/10/2026 08:15

Cant see why discuss runour us any different to discussing madcap ideas another poster has of what might happen next. (Like what if it's neither Jerry or Rosskemp who yawn, but someone else who walks in last minute. Like Sharon walks in with Kenny, Kenny yawns and Sharon immediately yawns in response. ) Aren't runours usually just something a situation a person has made up/guess, which grew legs?

I want to know if the report that one of them accusing the producers of being ‘like human traffickers’ is true or not. And if it is true, if it's a serious accusation or a joke.

I think Jerry is probably too well mannered and ladylike to yawn publicly.

Pinkbox · 16/10/2026 21:43

She did, but then cynical me noted that was the second time this episode she’d mentioned her illness and something in me wanted to check if the book where she talks about it at length is now out in paperback…

Indeed. I sympathise with her as it's obviously a horrible thing to go through and exist with BUT we've been hearing all about it for two or more years now and it's almost like she needs it to stay in the public eye.

I'm also extremely 👀about the loveyness and the tears (although mercifully fewer tears this year than in some of the non-Celeb series where certain people were blubbing day in, day out) from these celebs. They are ALL getting paid about half of what the chosen charity is going to end up receiving. Claudia no doubt making hundreds of thousands more. I find the charity aspect of it all a bit cringe really as it's so under-generous.

OsfameronTanamoril · 21/10/2026 08:33

I would really love if RossKemp charged out yelling about being murdered in plain sight and no one believed him!

LindorDoubleChoc · 21/10/2026 08:37

Maya hasn't really been tested until this murder in plain sight and I think she's doing it really badly!

Of course she will have been discussed in the castle, they would be mad as a bunch not to consider everyone. But we haven't been shown those conversations because there has to be this cool, lead Traitor narrative. I think it would be far more interesting if we always felt they were getting away with it by the skin of their teeth Grin.

ScaredButUnavoidable · 21/10/2026 08:42

I wonder if Ross does walk out if he suspects something and starts talking about a “murder in plain sight being attempted” with all the yawning, James and Maya will somehow find an way to communicate to each other that they should abandon the task?

I.e even if someone does yawn they won’t say “Am I boring you?” (Or whatever it is they’re supposed to say) which means the challenge won’t be completed and the yawner won’t be murdered.

That way everyone turns up for breakfast, it removes suspicion from them and it makes Ross Kemp look even more paranoid!

But it’s not about the charity. It’s about being paid for appearing in a TV show, same as you would if you went on Celebrity Pointless. The charity is just incidental, to have there be a reason for actually making an effort in the missions and building the prize pot, which would otherwise be totally irrelevant, as these are paid professionals participating in a light entertainment show, not people competing for prize money they get to keep.

Well, it’s certainly within the realms of possibility after all that yelling about Bella and the hat! You can see how ‘Maya yawned at me — she was definitely trying to murder me!’ would have the others going ‘There, there, Ross. Time for bed.’

I agree - she has decades of experience of presenting the professional face in all situations. I would be very surprised if she yawns first.

Do Texan women count as "Southern Belles" with their vice-like control and manners in social situations or is that just Georgia/Tennessee side of the South?

I didn’t know Leigh Ann before but I’m really liking her. She’s much better value than Rob was IMO.

ThatCyanCat · 21/10/2026 09:02

I've thought for a while that some sort of "dance of death" would be good for the murder in plain sight. Leigh Ann getting down on the floor with Miranda to do those chest pops would have been a golden opportunity!

I’ll say nothing spoiler-y, but that has been done on another iteration of Traitors.

I think Miranda’s comments about her illness are genuine and she’s just enjoying life again and having a touch of normality.

You could argue that every celebrity that goes on the show are selling something, whether it’s just an opportunity to promote themselves in the public eye and so therefore get bigger and better gigs. A few maybe do it for the genuine challenge of the game but most are there because their agent have suggested it’s a good idea (plus it’s good money for two weeks work!).

I agree, and I find those comments spiteful and mean. Also we don't know how much it's been edited e.g. how much other people also talk about their problems.

This is the thing.

It’s quite possible someone has figured out who one or more Traitors are but is keeping it to themselves. It’s the best way to play as a Faithful. Identify a Traitor and hang out with them, telling them you know they’re 100% Faithful - and they carry you to the end. It’s a game of survival if you want to win.

Though some people like the thrill of Traitor hunting, knowing full well they’ll be murdered.

I’m now wondering if the yawner is someone who comes into the room. But it’d be hard to get away with ‘Am I boring you?’ without looking weird.

sweetpickle2 · 21/10/2026 09:45

Do people really think that someone talking about something twice in one episode means that they talk about it loads? It just means they've been edited to be talking about it twice in one episode, you have no idea how much people are actually talking about things.

I agree the comments about Miranda's illness are quite unkind. As for the overblown blubbing when someone goes- all reality shows are like this! Big Brother, Love Island, it's just par for the course. Don't forget as well they're not living a particularly normal life in there, it's psychological warfare and you're probably not thinking straight or acting like you would do normally. Stands to reason that emotions run high because that's the conditions that the producers intentionally put them in to make better telly.

I agree with this. The rumours are just theories in reality, we've no idea of knowing if they are true or not. They generate interest and a talking point.

I agree with you aswell that I think it'll be someone random that walks in and yawns and wont be Ross or Jerry at all
