Would Cindy even get anything from Max? A very short engagement and a marriage not consummated. I think even the top divorce lawyer in the country would go "but you married Max Branning".

How is Ravi not even remotely suss about Priya's baby?!
Every time he brings it up, she looks about to burst into tears!

The acting gets worse and worse. Where did they find that young man playing the son of the new family. Talk about gcse drama, this was even worse

What a dire episode.
Are they going to ruin Priya now by having her blackmail Penny? when she's in the same situation herself!
That man that took fruit pastilles to the party needs to leave.
The problem is they are trying to throw in too many plots etc and it isn't working. They need to remember quality over quantity

I think Priya is heading for an exit story - next week Cindy blackmails her by saying she’ll tell Ravi the baby’s father is Max if she doesn’t leave the square.

Caught up to Mondays one today. Loved the dancing and the music last week. poor Cindy.

At least Jean admitted she was vile to Zoe, but she is always a realist. It was sad.
i liked Max when he said to someone ‘ I don’t want Priya finding out about Linda’ or whatever he said at that time. It was funny and so max ! That man is a disaster isn’t he.

Saw yesterday’s one today. The long long list of people ruined by Max : he really is a tool.
Now he thinks he is responsible for Zoe dying too :(

what if Ravi gets suspicious and goes all nuts again so Priya goes on the run, everyone thinks she’s dead cos they find blood or something. Just before new year she sneaks back to the square fesses up to Max the baby is his. Hence the scan etc, he agrees to help her hide out, the police then swoop in on the flat cos he’s a suspect, that’s why when the police open the bathroom door they do the uh oh thing and get on the radio (can’t quite remember what happened but it was like it was very unexpected to see the person in there) they release Max quickly cos nobody has been murdered he’s just hiding her. Ravi is wildly jealous max is getting what he thought was his child, so kidnaps Oscar and Lauren.

He said to Zoe “I don’t want Cindy to find out about Linda because she’s still upset about Priya” 🤣🤣🤣

And I’d completely forgotten that Zoe was also yet another one of his conquests! As he memorably told Cindy weeks ago, Jean is virtually the one woman on the square who hasn’t had the pleasure..😅

Makes me wonder if the writers were happy that Zoe and max had a fling last year so it this could be written in. I feel it’s a coincidence, but it gives them some leverage with Max and why he was the last one to speak to Zoe before she died.

Jack gave Kat Zoe’s phone log of messages and calls - one more thing I’m guessing Craig will find out about and will use against him.

the whole scene dumping Josh again, “a therapist would say that’s trauma bonding” made me cackle.

The police officer, after finding the woman in the bathroom, says something like “we’ve got a problem here”. I assumed it was because the mystery woman was giving birth. It could well be Priya hiding from Ravi, although it is a pretty obvious place to hide!

The Priya actress must be going off for mat leave any time now but we know they heavily pre-film when necessary - Michelle Ryan left EastEnders in May and her exit was shown 4 months later!

So many people all living together is madness now.
They need some new flats to go up or something.
The Vic seems to have more rooms now though?!

Storm, I feel you have hit the nail here.
Your theory explains why she is in bed and why the police are startled to find her in the bathroom.
People on here said pregnant woman was Priya ages ago as well.
It also explains how Max gets out of the police station so fast too ( with jacks help)

Is it just me or is it a huge reach on Kat’s part to assume and now be on the hunt for whoever ‘was with Zoe until she died’?
if the police said she was garbled and based on all her previous minimo crap , why would anyone assume that someone was with her and let her die? 🤯🤦🏽‍♀️
presumably it wil come out that max saw her but the early jumps from Kat seems a bit preposterous to me. I know we can do and say crazy things when grieving but…

I love Oscar. I don’t think Josh is as bad as people think, he’s been lumped in with Jasmine as a poor actor but I think he’s pretty good and true to character.
disappointing that after all this time Jasmine is still largely relying on blinking to do her acting for her

I agree, I feel like they’ve taken away from the story a bit and made it all very much circus, especially shouting at Zac today and accusing Sharon of knowing.. grief is horrific enough as it is, they didn’t need to make it theatrical.

The other day at the wedding, when Josh was acting “sad” sat on a chair like a 2 year old I rolled my eyes hard but other than that, I don’t find him too difficult.

I think both he and Jasmine are finding it hard to connect to their characters tbh, I’ve seen them both play smaller parts in other things very well. Their characters haven’t been written well at all if you ask me, but I still believe that’s because the plan changed at the end of last year.
