Re today’s episode. I honestly don’t think max could have drunk nearly a bottle of whisky and still be talking as coherently.

I thought the same cramptramp, expect his body just absorbs it with a high tolerance!
Oscar was great, as always, talking to Kat about losing Abi.

Another sad episode. I really feel for Jasmine. I know it’s not real life. 🫣
Not sure what Linda is thinking getting Max excited in his state. I can’t believe he tossed Cindy out.

Max getting bored of Linda already.

Jazz Hands is definitely coming across as evil secret or something.

Max never wants what he can have.

So true as soon as the current woman he's chasing gives in to him he's bored and on the sniff.

Another good episode. Jessie Wallace does sad Kat really well. The scene with Oscar was great.
To be fair to Max, Linda is a clingy, moaner.

Could anyone else hear Oscar’s real life French accent when he was talking today? Normally it’s cheeky one liners so you can’t hear it.
I am gutted he is leaving even if he is a bit cockney/french 😂

There must be at least 5 bedrooms as it does seem to expand when more people move in..

I love Oscar, but I don't think Pierre is actually French-French. One of his parents is, but he was born in London and has always lived here. He's been acting since he was really young, always in the UK.
His real accent sounds perfectly English to me.

They did kind of explain the sleeping arrangements in the vic the other day when the twins were complaining they needed so share with mo, suppose there’s a free room now Zoe has passed away, although she seemed to have the bedroom Linda used to have.

presumably Tommy has a room, the twins, Kat and Alfie, Zoe and then jasmine so 5 rooms?

I don't think there will be many volunteers to sleep in the room where Zoe lay dead!

@Alucard55 I am sure originally there was some kind of plan for Zoe's twins, as they (and Zoe) were intended to be around long term. They wouldn't have created a complicated backstory about Jasmine and her list of bad deeds otherwise. But they seem to have dropped it all now, I doubt either of them will be around for long. Zoe's gone, Oscar's going, there is no reason for them to be there.

Ethan is Penny's baby, it was just announced on this morning. That means in January Ethan will be almost 4 months, I thought he looked younger. Perhaps he is small due to being premature? Is he early? I can't remember the due date. Not watched today's episode yet

Why dont they use fake babies - its shit to see these newborns who are at least a couple of months old

She was booked for c-section tomorrow so not early I guess
And oh look Prya overheard - imagine that! 2 babies with questionable fathers..... normally we get one at a time!

It’s really telling that we’ve had a death in the square this week and a New Year’s Day episode looming and this thread is mega quiet!

I wasn’t that interested in today’s episode because I still can’t buy the Cindy and Max thing, and Vinny has always bored me.

Perhaps the return of Ash next week might perk things up a bit.

A birth, a death, a marriage and a marriage break-up!

Looks like Mark is back next week so we’ve more scenes of Lauren throwing anguished looks at him🙄 Apparently he’s passing through on his way back to Florida. He’s in the NYD episode with Max looking out of a winding and nodding at him so they obvs get involved in some dodgy business.

I haven't watched this weeks yet but the number of people who have died in the Queen Vic, you'd have nowhere to sleep if you avoided the rooms .

DD and DH have watched the first episode of the new "Slow Horses" series.
If he went onto the Square in his Jackson Lamb raincoat he;d fit right in with Mo!

Hellfire what a terrible episode. It was full of weak actors and boring characters. Jasmine was doing her usual ‘screwing her face’ up acting, the Hawkins are all annoying, Vinny was absolutely dreadful, and Penny had a giant baby. And then Johnny turned up again.

But, Oscar 💕

Max is a player and very close to being an alcoholic. Linda needs to stay away from him.
The baby is not Vinny’s. 🫣 maybe he is but the truth needs to be told. Priya and Penny both telling porkies.

I get mixed raced babies can be all colours but for even Suki not to be like 🤔 come on! Then when Pryia's baby comes out bald and ginger they'll be going on he's got your eyes Ravi.
