Such a shame, like the ‘business man’ Ned met yesterday, pure amateur, I’m actually shocked at how bad acting is on a prime time long run famous soap opera.
even for bit parts and extras I’d expect a far better quality than some of the robotic speakers on ee, there’s no nuance or real expression with loads of them.
it’s disappointing and makes me wonder if they pay really poorly or something else, back in the day loads of good actors cut their teeth in long running soap like this one, corrie emmerdale and brookside etc.

If Gemma is older , why did Nicola say about the swimming incident that time ? It felt like an activity younger siblings would be doing and she had time indoors on her own. Unless her dad made sure she didn’t do anything fun at all and Gemma would do things with Jodie and they all left Nicola home with her doll Ivy instead. Why he only disliked her is another mystery when the other girls are also challenging.
I bet they do a Mitchell type flash back with the family in the younger days , Nic is a bit like Phil with the family dynamics .
