Not sure why Nicola doesn’t ask Phil for a raid or a loan from his trusty safe. Everyone else does.
Phils face today with Lauren was funny! In fact it was good cover story.

Like, the audience knows these characters, sad as it may sound - the writers sometimes seem like they don't respect the show or the audience tbh

I would definitely find it an advantage to wipe the whole of Zoe's return from my brain!

I feel that the writers take the pee out of us loyal watchers sometimes. There are a few of them and I have a hunch they don’t really speak to each other much or lax with their homework on the back stories.
I appreciate that the family trees are confusing though !

They are, but we manage it and we're not being paid to do so.

Julie, of Julie and Nigelsweetheart has just popped up as an alkie mum on classic Corrie

Shelling lol about Zoe ! Last year’s Christmas Day story with Zoe and Kat was only saved by the wonderful Chrissie and her playing ‘ Bennie and the jets ‘ which was never made clear why that song!
The rest was a mess and the twins are now relegated to being bit parts atm.

80s we still have the funeral to get through!!
Hopefully after that the twins will fade into the distance!

I can’t see the twins leaving anytime soon though ;(
Patrick said to Oscar on NYD ‘ you’re a Truman now ‘ so must be something coming up with one of them.
Hopefully Jasmine and her stall will move out and Oscar will stay with Josh. He isn’t great , but it works better than Jas and Oscar do together.

Jimmy is over one now and we never see him at all.
I thought they would do more with a storyline about how a child that can’t see and the challenges that brings , but of course it’s more to do with his mum having an affair and all the rest of it!

Ian already confronted Lauren months ago as he was suspicious of her behaviour. He said at the time that he knew she was up to something. If you've been married to Cindy I guess it's easy to spot a cheater!

Who is running the businesses is a good question. Seems the chippie and the Pie & Mash shops are running themselves just like George's fusion restaurant that is somehow still mysteriously afloat. What happened to Eddie's money in the end? I can't believe Nicola gave it all away, wasn't it in the "low 6 figures" and she put some in the bar safe. She is in a financial mess so absolute madness if she didn't keep some of it.

I would guess that when they filmed the flashforward last November the producer did not know Zoe was leaving, and they def wouldn't have known Oscar is leaving. Fortunately after he goes there will be no point in either twin hanging around. (I agree I'd rather it was Josh.).

Nope, most of the flash forward actors will be gone by next Easter !
Ian is suspicious of Lauren isn’t he. She managed to get him off the scent before , but I bet he works it out by the time he is back in the chippy in his little white hat!

Darnell is flaky. I think his daughter will be the donor for Denise. She might be a more permanent on the show. She is very likeable and hit it off with Denise.

He has had experience from Cindy.

Yep, Ian can sniff out an affair now: just a shame he didn’t catch on to Cindy and junior. They did the sneaking around for ages right under his nose. It’s the same with Pet ahh now.

Yes true, Ian can spot a cheater, as long as it isn't Cindy 😆

I don't think Grace can be a donor, she's 16 so too young. Darnell is certainly flaky though. That look he gave Dee in his last scene.

Only thing I like about Darnell is he can do a decent east end accent!
I hope someone else is able to be a match for Denise. We can’t lose her ( but we know we won’t as around NYD )

If Darnell did chicken out, Grace will find out and she won't be happy about it. I think the only reason he agreed last week was because Grace urged him to do it.

Grace will talk him round I bet!
It’s just to elongate the story.

I think I’d stop watching if Denise dies.
Lauren has jumped in two feet first sneaking about for secret sex sessions. A big difference between a one off and at it every opportunity.
She can live miserably with Max.

The Albert may have cctv.. you never know.
Cindy would be so happy to catch Lauren out. She may feel a bit sad for Petahh , but mostly happy she has caught her cheating !

This cindy would be 100% happy at catching lauren cheating

For those of you who were older than me when she was first in it - was she this frivolous then?!

Like she just has no substance to her
