New 6 part drama starting mon 14 sept

On Mon Tue Wed and same following week

Based on book by Graham Norton

Is there no end to Graham Norton’s talent? Known for his quick wit and charm as a chat show host, he's also the author of several bestselling novels, one of which is about to be brought to life on the small screen. Forever Home is the "twisty, dark romp" that's making its way to Channel 5 - and we have a strong feeling that mystery fans are going to love it.

It focuses on a wife Carol , just settling into a second marriage when she makes a horrible discovery.

So horrible that she begins to suspect her husband is hiding a (very) dark secret - in fact, she thinks he might have committed murder.

When her older partner Robert's dementia worsens, Carol Crottie starts to wonder if the reason he won’t leave his home has something to do with the whereabouts of his first wife, who ran off with Robert’s brother 20 years ago, leaving behind their two young children Kaden and Sally.

"When Robert’s anxiety about the house’s hidden basement, rises, Carol’s curiosity is piqued as she and her mother investigate the whereabouts of Robert’s first wife, Joan.

But the secrets Robert has kept will take a long time to untangle."

Robert her new husband told her about his first wife running away might just be a lie.

It might also explain why he's so reluctant to sell the family home.

A great cast including cast that includes the likes of Amy Nuttall (Emmerdale (https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/soaps/emmerdale/)), Douglas Henshall (Shetland (https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/shetland-season-11-confirmed-newsupdate/)), Denise Welch (Coronation Street (https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/soaps/coronation-street/)), Lewis Cope (Strictly Come Dancing (https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/entertainment/strictly-come-dancing-2026-cast-line-up/)), Jenny Walser (Heartstopper (https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/heartstopper-forever-netflix-review/)), Shane Zaza (Happy Valley), Kevin Whately (Lewis) and James Baxter.

Don’t go in the basement …………..

I have read most of Graham Nortons books including this one. They are really good. Impressed that he can write. So looking forward to this

Only just started it. I predict that the ending will be they really did run away after all. Not a spoiler as I've no idea.

Tobacco · Yesterday 21:42

Nice old house

Blondeshavemorefun · Yesterday 21:51

Yes not sure which way this will go

Seen the body now

timoteigirl · Today 13:01

There must be more twists to come as the corpse was to be expected.

Blondeshavemorefun · Today 13:07

Either she will hide it from his kids

Or it’s not her and a random body

OP posts:

But intrigues me enough to watch tonight
