I was just there (outside mind!!). BUT... I am going back in December and I am going to Dinner before it permanently closes in January

Oh no! I had a BIG birthday there and hoped to have another one (If I'm spared, as they say.)

Halsall · 16/09/2026 21:32

Ah, just looked it up and it's closing for a major reno for at least a year, but not permanently.

Cooking for some big dogs 🤣

littlbrowndog · 16/09/2026 21:34

That’s an empty kitchen

Oh thank fuck, but to be safe I'll go in December

ilovesooty · 16/09/2026 21:34

Georgio looks as though he's about to burst onto the set of Mary Poppins.

Good stuff. I approve of them getting ready for me

littlbrowndog · 16/09/2026 21:37

Omg Shakira. That looks hard as

lettingthedaysgoby · 16/09/2026 21:37

I don't recall seeing the sous-chefs mentoring like this before - it's good to see rather than pretending the contestants have become Michelin chefs over the course of six weeks (or whatever).

Prideofpoona · 16/09/2026 21:37

That dessert looks awesome

PotterHead1985 · 16/09/2026 21:37

MammyPotter would approve of Grace's dress

I detest the expression "sweet treats."

My mammy would have speculated about the cost of it.

My family all had pudding but when I've used the term outside the house, it's been met frequently with amused scorn. Not that I give a fig

But pudding is correct. That’s we use in Scotland. Pudding for pudding

Mmmm, figgy pudding. 😍

littlbrowndog · 16/09/2026 21:44

Omg it’s so beautiful

Halsall · 16/09/2026 21:44

It's the Americanism of 'sweet treat' to mean any kind of cake, pastry or pudding that sets my teeth on edge.
