Oh wow that’s great, the casting team on this series was very good at matchmaking!

Omg I almost had to turn off when Ryan was speaking! How the hell is he a public speaker when he is sooo wooden sounding? Awful! I hated the way he spoke all through the series anyway, but tonight it was even worse. His voice just grates on me. That terrible inflection at the end of every. Single. Sentence. And in the reunion it seemed to be almost every other word. And the way he would say two words and then pause and say two more..aarrghhh… 😂😂
Also, and I said it further up, what an absolute knob, completely agree that he was not ready for a relationship and shouldn’t have been on there. An incredibly self-centred, self absorbed twat.
Can you tell that he really bugged me? Luckily he came off even worse tonight than he did even throughout the entire series (not sure that was even possible 😄), so at least any woman daft enough to have a relationship with him will be forewarned!

Apart from that…I said, after the end of the weddings, that I was surprised they’d all said yes and how unusual I thought that was, and so I was also surprised that they were all still together and seemed very happy. For the most part, anyway. I think Joseph and Fran were maybe the only couple that perhaps found it that little bit harder. I think Ciara came off a little bit bette than she did during the whole series.

PP saying about the lack of drama and gossip, I reckon that’s why the did a little Chev bit, just to try and throw a little bit of something into it!

Very true - I wonder if they are making a genuine effort to find real couples rather than go down the MAFS/Love Island route.

Sophie and Taylor really remind me of Gavin and Stacey, even Matt said it on the reunion show so I’m really glad I’m not the only one!
Faye reminds me of Kate Winslet especially the way she says “Jack!”

Ryan is super creepy. I hate that Cuba put any effort in and didn’t just bin him off as soon as they met.

The lack of drama made the pushing the multiple connections narratives far harder than the reality of the situation seem quite desperate.
Id have loved to have seen more of the families as that was where the drama could have been this series.

I went back last night and watched the series 1 reunion and this series couldn’t be further from the drama of that one! I forgot how crazy that was, they are definitely thinking more about casting genuine people and moving away from drama, which in my opinion can only be a good thing. Although I forgot how amusing Sam’s antics were (from a viewer point of view!)

I agree, bringing up the triangle between Jack, Ciara and Faye again, as well as the whole Chev thing again was so unnecessary. It was discussed to death during the actual episodes, so to have to go over it all again the Reunion was so boring. Same as the “Where did Jack go during his two hour walk’ non-drama! It all happened over a year ago FGS…..why bring everything back up again and potentially cause old wounds to re-open and cause arguments in established relationships. I think it was quite inappropriate really.

I fast forwarded through all those parts as I just wasn’t interested in hearing all the same crap that had been spoken about before, and like I said, bringing up past issues and arguments that had been put to bed just didn’t seem right to me. Jack, Faye, Fran and Joseph all looked really uncomfortable and it didn’t make for enjoyable viewing.

I am actually really glad to see a show where so many of them were well matched and work well! I hate all of the sexism and nasty fame seeking on MAFS for eg. This one was super refreshing and actually has made me feel there are still some men who want to marry for the right reasons out there.
I approve of the less drama.

am finding it all very boring now we are in the wedding build up. I wish they would focus more on all the other people and matches in the pods and not draw out all the details on just a few. I am finding myself fast forwarding everything. Especially the spiritual ones!

Oh I’m not sure I agree. She’s nowhere near as curvy and apart from maybe the eyes, doesn’t have same facial features. I think Margot Robbie or Pamela Anderson
