The story so far
Trigger Point follows a team of bomb disposal officers, known as EXPOs, as they dedicate themselves to keeping London safe from explosive devices and terrorist threats.

S4 - will comprise six new episodes, also featuring the return of characters Danny (Eric Shango), Hass (Nabil Elouahabi), DS Helen Morgan (Natalie Simpson) and DCI Batra (Maanuv Thiara), with guest stars including Julie Graham and Jonas Armstrong.

S4/new series picks up after the season three finale, which revealed Steven Wyles as the bomber the team had been hunting down 🙀🙀🙀

I enjoyed the last episode but it was really stretching plausibility, even for them! And how did Morgan find out the exact location of the bomb?

It was nail biting, I've never known a show like it that is absolutely ridiculous but had me on the edge of my seat anyway.

Wonder how the sniper got the massive gun through security didn't someone say can I check your bag after she'd been scanned?

I did think it was curtains for Lana as she lay bleeding profusely. Amazing that they pulled to off with the typhoons approaching. Would they really have dropped a bomb on a stadium surely that would've set the nuke off anyway?

McClure as I keep in saying is such a convincing actor.

Very entertaining but not very plausible!

Sniper got a text telling her which security position to go through and that they would “let her through”…so presumably there was a pay-off. The person behind was asked to have their bag checked, but not the sniper. Wonder why these mercenaries were so happy to die in the blast, or maybe some wouldn’t know it was a nuclear bomb, although the lead guy did… he probably wouldn’t have had time to get safely clear either.

Yes it had so many plot holes but it was enjoyable hokum anyway, carried by another great Vicky McClure performance.

No the next one will be a nuclear submarine will be hijacked by a few dodgy looking northerners, Lana will be recalled as she's now the nuke expert following her high tech Blue Peter style detonation after sending Danny home with essential parts.

They'll be sailing toward New York to start ww3 again and she'll get her snips out and save the world. Another nail biter. I'm in.

I wondered about that. I guess they might have used the tactic of threatening his wife or children or something, but if so it's surprising that wasn't mentioned.

Definitely not. It was really noticeable that they didn't bother to replace Nut or the nasty one who got killed, and Wren seems more like a bag-carrier than a replacement for Rich.

I won't let myself watch more than 1 episode at a time because series 4 will be over too soon.

I did wonder if Helen had lost her mind and was taking some weird revenge for her former boyfriend (Neil) dying.
