The story so far
Trigger Point follows a team of bomb disposal officers, known as EXPOs, as they dedicate themselves to keeping London safe from explosive devices and terrorist threats.

S4 - will comprise six new episodes, also featuring the return of characters Danny (Eric Shango), Hass (Nabil Elouahabi), DS Helen Morgan (Natalie Simpson) and DCI Batra (Maanuv Thiara), with guest stars including Julie Graham and Jonas Armstrong.

S4/new series picks up after the season three finale, which revealed Steven Wyles as the bomber the team had been hunting down 🙀🙀🙀

It's ludicrous isn't it. So action packed and entertaining but yes every security force would be all over it plus a bloke teaching expo how a nuke works?!

It's really weird for the budget, time and effort put in why not make it a bit plausible. Have convincing terrorists like Al Qaeda, isis or even the Russians. There's plenty to choose from.

You just can't imagine at the writing stage someone thinking ah let's make the Americans try to nuke London and convince everyone it's Iran just by speaking farsi in one exchange.

Final one tonight I'm committed so will have to see how Lana saves London while Helen runs about gormlessly trying to find her brother.

I have been gripped by this series, like them all, but have found it increasingly ludicrous.

I've been gripped too even though I've moaned about the holes. It really does excel at edge of your seat tension so I can't wait for the finale even though I'll be going 'what???' Throughout

The ending was ok, but not great.

Was it just me who saw a connection developing between Lana and the armed officer who was protecting her/escorting her?
I don’t understand why Morgan was angry with her brother either. Had he got in with the baddies or just been kidnapped by them?
I think that probably was the last series but we’ll see.

it seemed like he was in on the plot

Jonas Armstrong told her that her brother had had his “head turned by money” (or words to that effect), so she knew he was in on it - but then obvs the baddies used him.
