He had a plaster on his head one day , but not yesterday so clearly fully recovered then 🙄

The whole Chelsea/Ian/Gray thing is ridiculous!
As if Kathy would not tell Ian about Chelsea helping with the appeal. And I just don't see how the reason why Jordan ran into the road matters at all, it doesn't negate the fact that Ian wasn't paying enough attention!

Kathy was pissed and mucking about with Ian's car music , turning up the volume etc. But she seems to accept no responsibility for the whole incident .

Ian being over the limit after a pint . Is that even possible ? It's not like he'd have starved before the wedding , even if he was a bit urgh about the food on offer . He must;ve drunk a pint of really strong beer !

Kathy doesn’t want to get Ian’s hopes up. Which I kind of understand as it’s very flimsy isn’t it. Most people on here agree it won’t make a lot of difference to the sentence , but I guess it must do as he is out NYD!
It’s obvious that Gray will ask Sheila to kidnap Jordan and ( going by a photo I saw online ages ago ) Dee and Kim rescue him ! If that is true , it may be either dramatic or a damp squib eye rolling moment ! Lol
I wouid tell Ian tbh , jusy say they are trying to do something and not to get too excited, but this is EE where people don’t communicate too well.

Kathy is turning a blind eye to her involvement in this isn’t she. If he had eaten it may not have been over the limit. One pint is the legal limit. Some said the prawns being off may have helped the readings being over , but he didn’t eat them. It didn’t look like any kind of special beer , craft or real ale.

Even if Ian serves his 'full' sentence he will be out in November, because if you are sentenced to under 2 years you serve less than half. But I doubt they will keep him in jail that long because it will get (even more) boring.

I don't think Sheila will kidnap Jordan. Gray will try to get custody transferred to her. But it is ludicrous. No one will take Jordan away from his mother because she shouted at him! Sheila is a lawyer so will be fully aware of that.

Kathy refusing to tell Ian about the appeal was daft. Plot device to make Ian hate Chelsea and help Gray.

It'll be on a par with the kidnap of Albie , when Karen realised she wouldn't be in the little boys life .

I watch this everyday it is on. It is, of course, utter rubbish. So many holes in the ridiculous plots that you could drive two juggernauts through side by side. People who don't work drinking all the time in the pub - where does the money come from? Young children who would seem to disappear for months - who is taking care of them when all their family is in the pub? So many questions. I could go on and on. You have to suspend logic and reason It is all completely ludicrous, a parallel universe and yet I still watch it every day. Doh😂

Chelsea shouted at her son of course he would be much better off with a serial killer who is in jail.

It’s probably fake, but the photo I saw showed Kim at an airport pushing Dee along in a wheelchair.
Why those two would chase people is a mystery though. Surely it would be Jack or Chelsea if anyone!
Unless they were all there.
Anyway , I agree the stories are far fetched. Not long ago Nicola was saying the businesses hadn’t much money and going under , yet they go to the pub, eat in the cafe and so on. George closed up rather than employ a temporary manager that day. at least we saw Nicola with a drinks order! Had to be a first for ages.

Spoilers for next week imply Sheila and Gray cook up a plan involving Jordan but I can’t see it being a kidnapping, Sheila is too intelligent to get involved in that. It’s probably a custody thing as @Shellingbynight says - maybe Sheila can dig up something about Chelsea’s past to make that story slightly credible.

Oh , I dunno , I find Mark-the- Muscle a welcome distraction
Though he is toying with Lauren, he will drop her like a wasp filled pear when he gets bored (and she will have ruined her marriage and have two little boys to look after ).

Yes, when Chelsea said that Jordan was with other people she looked a lot put out didn’t she!
At least he wasn’t in the kiddie cupboard that day and with his relatives.
Chelsea was involved with drugs historically, they will drag that up again I suppose.

I like Mark, but only because his nice looking ( shallow I know ) I agree that once she submits to his dubious charms , he’ll go cold on her. Or just get more involved with the car money making schemes and drag her into it a lot more. She likes the money.

Well everyone should be in agreement that serial killers who have children should never be allowed to have parental rights.

There was also an episode where Chelsea was taken along to a business meeting by Gray when he was networking .
She wore some of Chantelles clothes which was hilarious as Chantelle was twice her height and half her width .
She gets off with the work colleague . She was very shallow and self centred back then.
Gray gave her his credit card to buy herself things (clothes ) she came back with Chantelles engagement ring (from the local pawn shop)

Sheila can go for custody I suppose , but not sure she’d get it. She may be persuaded to. Which is why I think she tries to kidnap him instead , which is even worse !
Especially for an ex lawyer. Have to see what happens

Yep, re Chelsea. The old head one was a nightmare at times and in trouble a lot. No doubt super ex lawyer Sheila will dig it all up and gray will tell her what happened when he was with her and so on.

Chelsea went to prison for perjury - anyone remember that? But I don’t know how relevant that would be to any custody story as she served her time.

I doubt that murderers in prison do have any rights, but nothing surprises me with this country and they may have some ? Why didn’t Chelsea ring Karen back ? She left a message that she didn’t get thanks to the boys and didn’t chase her up again. Karen said Sheila was bad news and tried it on with Mia and Mack.
Kim is suspicious too.

I do remember Chelsea in prison once. I can’t remember why or what happened there.

Or was it perverting the course of justice she went to prison for. Something to do with Dean Wicks.

I dunno, when I saw those pictures of them in the airport, I thought bucket list.. plus Dee said something about wanting to go to Paris with Kim during the hair scene.
