It’s crap. Cheesy, predictable crap. I watched the first one this afternoon. Soft spot for John, stop all the clocks, Hannah. Worked out the perp in the first ten minutes. Will I watch the rest? Absolutely. Sometimes tongue in cheek crap is just what I need. And Channel 5 are experts in this wonderful stuff.

Exactly. There's a place for this kind of programme and this one's quite well done.

I am quite enjoying it although really surprised John Hannah agreed to do it.

It certainly makes me certain I will never ever go to Benidorm!

I only saw half of the first episode and i will never go there!!! I’ve been to the Costa del Sol (not Torremolinos) and Lanzarote a few times so no stranger to that sort of resort but Benidorm seems like a step too far 😂

We love this series of course it's cheesy but sometimes it's just what you need to unwind 😁

I can't say Benidorm would be my personal cup of tea either, but then it clearly provides the sort of holiday lots of other people love and is really popular.

I do like it but it is cheesy. Like the ship thing tho least he was ok looking and sings 😂

They're both cheesy of course but so far I think Good Ship Murder is a bit cheesier!

True. My dance teacher absolutely loves it and goes several times a year. I actually thought the beach and promenade looked lovely. But those high rise buildings and the tourists tell another story.
I like the ship one as well but always turn it off when the guy sings at the end.
Can't beat a cheesy crime comedy although I have given up on Shakespeare and Hatherway.
