I agree, they weren't clear.

Anna will be a deserving winner but I’m not sure all her GOTWs have been the best there was.
Rebecca seems over cautious at times and sews things she wouldn’t mind wearing rather than fulfilling the brief imo.
I knew the person leaving would be leaving, as our local news had a segment all about her!

Yes she’s not always very objective, I preferred the 1st set of outfits and they were well made

I feel guilty for saying this, but to me Esme looked like she was left behind in some of this, or a little out of it. It looks to me like Patrick is doing a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to judging.

Esme has a massive amount of credibility with fashion, and knows the business, but I think that she's not as sharp has she has been in previous series.

I thought they looked a bit of a mess tbh and preferred the pleather.

I thought the first set of outfits were less Spice Girls and more Worzels 😆. The camo/ pleather was more edgy and pop imo. But it did sound like the judges were coming down in favour of the denim trio and I was surprised when the camo ones won

The pleather won because Esme loved punk.

The brief they gave for disco was pretty broad - was it a Bob Mackie costume for Cher, or Bianca Jagger wearing Halston? Or a 21st century reimagining of Earth, Wind and Fire? All of those are completely different but within the brief that was given.

Personally I liked Rebecca's as it was beautifully made and she will actually be able to wear it as it fits her (just realised the style also works for her disability) and is timelessly stylish.

I thought Beth's was the best disco outfit, I could see someone in that at Studio 54. It was about sophistication and daring not necessarily bling and Beth's ticked that box perfectly.

They are all great though, I love it this year so much. Love the vibe Sophie brings too. Just fear she will be very busy and snapped up for other programmes going forward like Claudia as she really is a league apart as a presenter from the other comedians.

Yes, Sophie is warm and natural and the silly bits, which seem to be less, this year, just come across as Sophie being Sophie. You would totally expect her to pose with traffic cone boobs if the cones were there. Sarah would have just looked awkward if asked to do it.

DD sent me a very excited message yesterday asking if I could guess who she’d just seen and spoken to. I was then given the clue that she lives on a houseboat 😊

We live in York and DD was in the queue in M&S when Anna joined behind her. DD asked if it was her (although was very sure) and they had a nice chat 😊

What is Rebecca’s disability? I don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned. I’ve got my suspicions though

She described it as "chronic stomach pain."

What do you mean by this?

I heard her say “stomach pain”, I wasn’t sure if it counts as a disability or there was something else

She probably wasn't going to go onto any gory details and perhaps say, "I get severe and very uncomfortable bloating and a bad case of the shits, almost at random." on TV.

I think Esme is a bit past it. She seema
to have deteriorated quite a bit in this series.

I thought Anna’s was more early 80s than Disco. My favourite was Beth’s as it was pure Pans People on Top of the Pops.

You have to remember it's two long days edited down to an hour of TV. I'm sure Esme has plenty to contribute in judging but a lot of it doesn't make the edit because their formula is to have Patrick make the main comments. Which is really tiresome.

I'm not sure if it had to be 70s, just disco.

I noticed his cold was a little better but he was still a bit bunged up. He must have been feeling quite unwell during filming.

The problem is that when Anna wins no one will be surprised. The whole show editing has just been leading up to it. She wins, Beth second.
