Very different to have them make something for themselves.

Is it Adele? I'd like her dress as a coat lining.

No Emma - bright floral lining in a bottle green wool swing coat

BreakfastOfWaffles · 14/07/2026 20:40

Checking in! They seem like a good bunch so far. My favourite is the boho canal boat lady.

FeltCarrot · 14/07/2026 20:45

I’m liking Sophie Willian as host.

UrbanSoul · 14/07/2026 20:46

I'm not keen on the bloomers.

We were just saying we’ve never liked a new host straight away before…

I'm not keen on the bloomers.

It’s not an outfit I would wear on a warm summers day

Piggywaspushed · 14/07/2026 20:48

'I'm not going to tell you what I've done wrong' she says. Then tells him what she has done wrong.

Piggywaspushed · 14/07/2026 20:51

I don't really know Anna. But those bloomers are Very Anna.

Piggywaspushed · 14/07/2026 20:56

I want to know who Lewis' dad is that he spent his holidays in France wearing Fisherman smocks. It's like he was Cezanne or something.

CrushingOnRubies · 14/07/2026 20:57

Think the strawberry dress was my favourite

UrbanSoul · 14/07/2026 20:58

She wasn't the best.

Piggywaspushed · 14/07/2026 20:58

I liked Heather's probably because of the fabric and Beth's probably because she looks stunning.

Brave though!

Yes.

Piggywaspushed · 14/07/2026 21:00

I think that's a birthmark on Anna's neck.

AnneElliotfanclub · 14/07/2026 21:01

So good to have this back for the summer.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 14/07/2026 21:06

I can barely thread a needle, but I love this. What a great bunch of sewers this year. I liked them all. Anna's hat box was very good. I don't have most of the names straight yet. Bearded man from Brum did very well with his shirt and chinos. Some lovely things there. And yes, Sophie Willan did well too. Roll on next week!

KnickerlessParsons · 14/07/2026 21:18

There are some very talented sewers this year. More than usual.
I think tie right person went this week but wouldn’t have argued if it had been waistcoat man

FriendofDorothy · 14/07/2026 21:39

Any idea where the presenters lush orange floral dress was from?

BestIsWest · 14/07/2026 21:43

I like opera lady so far as I love her fabrics.

timestressed · 14/07/2026 21:47

Ues! A shirt and chinos in 5 hours. That is very good. I hope he improves as weeks go by.

WonderfulSmith · 14/07/2026 21:48

I thought the made to measure was interesting. It’s much easier for them to practice making it on themselves, than on some model and then adapt.
I did feel bad for the men as it strikes me that making a shirt and trousers is more work than making a dress.

No one is annoying!

It seems to be a Joanie dress - called 'Candi', I think. Possibly not available any more (didn’t Joanie cease to exist?) although there appear to be some on Vinted and EBay.
