Loved the octopus.❤️ loved the Bee and Rebecca’s was very clever

I used to buy loads of stuff from Joanie. I'm wondering where I can find their dead stock. And hoping they come back one day. I could always make some, I guess!

I got the blue dress in around April in the local TOFS (the original factory store) which was also closing down, 70% of nearly everything and I think I paid £19 for it which was an absolute bargain. I liked the neckline but the sleeves were just too big and puffy for me - it was to wear to a wedding and just a bit much. I liked Joanie stuff too. Theres a lot of it on Vinted.

On a side note, I'm loving Sophie as presenter and hope they keep her.

I was not keen on Sarah Pascoe at all, but Sophie is warm and genuine. They don't need to keep swapping presenters!

Have re watched the first series of Ludwig and Sophie was very good in that.

I think they've been reading this thread - practical 2nd challenge and brought back the judges discussions!

I'm guessing it's the presenters who leave rather than the programme ousting them.

I much preferred the middle challenge this week

It was filmed months ago though.

What a lovely episode. I really loved the soft toy challenge, that octopus was brilliant. I loved Rebecca’s idea, I imagined a flash mob situation with everyone suddenly breaking into song at a shopping mall or a station. I thought though that the bee costume looked more professional. I guessed it was Minnie’s time to go.

I think this might be the earliest in the series it's reached that edge of seat point. 2 clear front runners and 4 who are less consistent but all with some brilliant makes behind them and all far better sewers than at least one of the recent winners I can think of.

I was joking (although strictly speaking putting the judges discussion could have been filmed and left on the editing floor before being reinstated). Nice idea though!

Anna reminds me of Lady Mary/Michelle Dockery.
Really wanted the bee to win this week, the GOTW was a good idea but looked badly fitted.

Yes she sounds just like her too. It’s been bugging me who she reminds me of!

I don’t like Sophie at all, I find her annoying.

As a dance mum, I LOVED the tutus. I’ve never given much thought to their construction before. We still have DD’s first tutu which was made for her when she was 4!

Yes I’m a fan of Sophie too. She’s in Small Prophets as the neighbour and just spotted her in Ludwig that I’ve just watched for the first time too.

Alma’s Not Normal is an excellent watch as well.

I'm joining in very late! I watched ep1 tonight and wonder if Dawn was given any accommodations for her limited vision, or if it was taken into account at all? I think it's understandable she was a bit less ambitious considering the curcumstances.

Anyway I have a tummy bug so I plan on binge watching the rest tomorrow and hopefully will be caught up!

Dawn seemed to have adaptions like a magnifier, it’s a shame she was the first to go.

I really liked the superhero outfit with the lightning shapes on it. I think that should have won GOTW

I like the fact that it is actually quite competitive this season. There isn’t a huge gap in ability amongst the remaining participants.
No one is head and shoulders above the others as happened in other seasons (and on other similar type shows).

I liked the turtle. Don't know why it came last. Also wondered if Patrick was a little bit OTT in his criticism of Anna's SuperHero costume, perhaps to try and create some manufactured doubt as to her being pretty much the front runner to win 🙍?
